Great start. I'm definitely hooked. We'll be at the Poly from 9/24 - 9/30. I'll definitely have my eyes on the look out for you and your DH. Have you requested a room location? We're hopefully doing Samoa 3rd floor.

Hi! All I requested was non smoking & balcony. I couldn't make up my mind about the bldg. Hope we get a good one! Hope you get 3rd floor Samoa,too!

Thoroughly enjoying your report so far. Can't wait to read all about your wonderful trip when you return. Sorry to hear about the necessary surgery; thankfully, you're healthy and have a lifetime of Dis trips to anticipate!! Enjoy the Poly. We stayed there twice, and we also stayed at the GF. We now own DVC at BWV and usually stay there or at the BC...and LOVE it for our large family. However, I DO miss staying on the monorail; there's really nothing like it. We had gone to 'Ohana in the past and went again this trip. Also went to Kona this time. My family really loved the ambiance at Poly. Although we had been there many times before, they can't stop talking about the lush foliage and fountains/waterfalls, etc. I love walking around the resort at night, with the torches lit and the beautiful surroundings. It truly does feel like a tropical paradise. Relax and have a wonderful trip. Looking forward to your TR in its entirety! Thanks for the pre-trip info!!

WOW, yes i can see why you love the GF so much. What a great pic. The Poly is amazing, though. One of my favorite resorts! You are lucky to be staying there - you're gonna have a BLAST! I don't understand why it gets such bad reviews. I love it.

I like your new Disney clothes, especially the polos - so cute! You definitely have all the right books, all the essentials. Have fun! (of course you will) Can't wait to read more - you really have a great trip planned.
