It was BEAUTIFUL... Disney took care of everything and made everyone feel so special. The whole day was picture perfect.
I'm including a few pictures.

WOW! Sandy, that was a beautiful bride & a beautiful wedding!

Okay I'm confused :confused3 What is a fish extender??? :confused3
Am I just goofy or is it just to early this morning for me to use my brain???

For all of you with kids, and even for the adults that will never grow up (Like me)... On our last Disney Cruise I found out that if you leave a pillow case at guest relations you can get all the characters to sign it. I thought that was the best idea. We made a pillow case :cloud9: with a pic of the ship and it had Mac's name on it with Disney Cruise and all of the characters signed it. His room has so much Disney, Disney Cruise and Disneyland stuff in it that it just fits right in... you can say I am in the process of raising a Disneyaholic.

Well I guess I am going to work now! I hope everyone has a great day!
Season

The launch date has not been set yet, but on NASA's web site it says...

"Mission managers are considering Sept. 6, 7 and 8 as potential launch dates"

I know what to add to our family prayers! LOL! NO LAUNCH ON THE 7TH!!! :thumbsup2

Beautiful wedding pictures. Now I want a Disney wedding!!! Too bad my boyfriend would never go for that (plus there is no way we could afford that!!)

Fish extenders look great. Thank goodness Steph saved me so I wouldn't have to attempt to make one and screw that up as well!!! Thanks again Steph!!!!

Wow, I think we may be doomed to have the launch on Sept. 7th!!!! Be prepared, leave early early early!!!!

Well today is my last day I will be on the DIS. My last day of work before vacation is today, I don't have a fast computer to post on at home and I leave for WDW on SAturday morning. Can't wait to meet you all in a week!!!!!

Ok, I'm really started to worry about the launch now. :rotfl2: Ok, no laughing as I was the one that wanted it to be on the 7th. But from what I'm hearing from Disney and others. That the cruise line, air lines, and transfer people are use to this and prepared for it. But still!! Can't help but worry!

I just tried to change my doctors appointment thinking that Sally and I might change our flights and fly down the day before. That was a no go. So we are stuck with our 10:30 flight. :sad2:

Another reason dh & I decided to stick with DCL transfers..... no luggage handling and if therre is a launch we will still make it to the ship! :rotfl:

I have always wanted to see the launch but now that I might be able to I am having reservations about it. Especially if it is on the 7th.

Not sure if I posted the picture correctly...but this was my fish extender attempt!

Great job on your fish extenders!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Kirsty

Don't they typically launch in the morning? I am glad I have an earlier flight...arrive into MCO at 10:10 am...should be plenty of time with the towncar transfer.

Thanks for all the great comments on the fish extender. My sewing machine has gotten more use in the last month, than the last 2 years. LOL :rotfl2:

Pirate costumes, pilllowcases, fish extenders......I wonder if it's safe to put the sewing machine away now????? :confused3

Now I know why I buy all this random Disney fabric and have no idea what I will do with it. I finally used some of it!!! :rolleyes1

1 week and we will all be sailing with Mickey!!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :bounce:
Kirsty

We have transfers also, which makes me not be as worried. If we didn't have those, I would for go the doctor and fly in the day before!

The times vary, sometimes they launch in the mornings, sometimes in the evening. I remember when the Challenger(sp) went up the last time it was in the morning. My school had burnt to the ground that night and we were all up watching the early morning news coverage of the school fire, when they interupted for the shuttle launch.

Before it was scrub this time I believe it was set for like a 4:30 or 5 pm launch time.

Kirsty,
Don't let the material just sit there, help out a fellow DISer, namely Amy and make her a nice pair of undies. HER MOM WILL LOVE YOU FOR IT.
From my old Catholic grade school and seminary days I remember that one of the beatitudes is "cloathe the naked", so God will love you for it also! pirate:

Just in from NASA: They are planning the launch for September 6 at 12:29 PM. Of course, depending upon weather conditions, it may not happen until the 7th or 8th. Obviously, there are always options for NASA.

I'm so glad that Chris and I have DCL transfers, since launches can really disrupt the traffic patterns near the Cape launch area.

Okay, back to the ironing board and laundry.

I hope you are right and the space shuttle launches on the 6th. Just pray for great weather everywhere for those of us that did plan ahead and made the flight for the same day of the cruise. I have Disney transfers but I hope United flight leaves on time from Chicago!!!

WOW! You are lucky! I've never done it but, I've read about it in the Passprter. :teeth:

I just read you sig line.... You were married in DISNEY????? Tell me about it? Where? Etc..... 15dd & I want 23dd to be married at the Grand Floridian. :teeth:

It was great. We were married out here in California in the Rose garden of the Disneyland Hotel. We were able to use Cinderella's Pumpkin Coach ( the highlight for me) and we had Mickey and Minnie come to the reception. It was a glorious wedding. Beautiful. My mom has some small sized photo albums that...if proded, she may bring along to show off. :lmao:
