We did some of our last minute shopping today. We had to pick up our children's new luggage and the rest of their school supplies.

I wasn't sure I would be able to find mine, due to me not being at home. That is why I asked when I made my ressies. I thought I might have to order my card in a hurry. I was told in order to access the CC line I would have to show proof, with my CC cards. But knowing Disney what they tell you in the office might not be the way things are in the field. It wouldn't be the first time I've had that happen to me by them.

wht do people do about strollers on the excursions? we are mainly doing island tours, but would like to bring a stroller with us. is there a place for it on the excursion buses or do i have to hold it in my lap?

it hangs on your stateroom fish... ergo: fish EXTENDer... pockets for notes, gifts, etc. you can add names and emblishments to personalize it so it doesn't "swim" away.

I'll be MIA most of tomorrow. It's my birthday and we have a few family things planned. Yep...I'll be 46 instead of 45 for our sailing . It's OK...you're as young as you feel...right? My mom's is next week. She'll be 75! We celebrate them at the same time since they are less than a week apart.

Good morning everyone....

I started my fish extenders the other day...then the needle on the sewing machine broke, lol...I will be finishing today. I made two separate ones....one for McKinley and one for Allison, so they can each take theirs home for their rooms....So ours isn't going to be like the traditional types here.

I made little magnetic picture frames for the fish extender gifts...they came out cute if I do say so myself,

Today is going to be a perfect day to work on our costumes...seeing as there is only 18 days left...my dh has to go away on business this week...just seems like a perfect time to knock them out... Wish me luck...send a little pixie dust...I am going to need it....

I am also going to make tshirts for us to wear...busy busy busy....

I can't believe how our little group has grown! Welcome newcomers! This cruise is going to be awesome!!!

I've had a crazy few weeks. We moved into our new home on August 2. My 17DD had flown to San Francisco (for a team tennis tournament) July 30 and I flew out to join her on August 5 (leaving my DH and DS to deal with the mess!) DD and I met with college coaches from around the country while she played National Championships. At the end of the week, we flew to D.C. to check out her top college choice (DH and DS met us there.) By the end of the weekend, she had (committed) with a "full ride" to University of Maryland and we headed home. She started her senior year feeling great already knowing where she'll be in 2007! The only downside was calling the other coaches to let them know she won't be joining their teams. That was tough.

DS (3) started preschool on Thursday. Is there anything cuter? So far, he loves it! And it has him fired up to try the clubs.

My sister and her son (7) arrived for a visit this past Wednesday. Since we live so close to Disney, we've been in the parks the past few days, and are headed to AK today. My house is still a disaster, but we're all having fun! Definitely puts me in the mood for my vacation!

Anyway, I'm reading this thread and starting to panic. You all keep mentioning "last minute shopping and packing." Last minute!!!! I haven't started anything! My sister leaves Wednesday...maybe I'll get a chance to do a little shopping before my inlaws arrive for Labor Day (a plus/minus of living in Floriday...we see a lot of family! )
