Thanks all for the kind words on the "fish extender". I really had a fun time putting it together
I really liked your fish extender. Now I might have to fix mine up a little more. :rotfl2: I can't have Tink looking better than Mickey. :rotfl:

I'm with Stephanie. I would KILL for some fresh WI curds!!!:Pinkbounc If it's convenient, bring cheese instead! Being from the midwest, you would think I could get there easily, but NO. There will be plenty of us brave enough to check the wine!

Okay Linda, What are cheese curds? :confused3 I heard they are great tasting.

Here is the website that I uploaded our 1st cruise (and a trip to WDW) to back in Oct -- I don't know why I didn't upload our Feb trip on the Wonder....
You have been invited to visit a photo album

These are great pictures. You are just making me more anxious til the cruise. :teeth:

diznylnd: Great photos! That picture of the "Black Pearl" is really wonderful. Do you know how long it will be there? Where is it berthed?

Chipper, you did a great job on posting the fish extender....or should I say, thank you Gary! Either way, hope you like it. I think I used every possible machine, pin, needle and embellishment I own! LOL! I'm still looking for something with Chip and Dale on it. I may have to resort to pins! Goodness gracious, you know I got plenty of those things. LOL!

Almost party time, so I better scoot. We have friends coming in from Honolulu for a b-day party. :wizard:

I am so happy there will be enough kids on the cruise to keep my girlies happy! :Pinkbounc I was really worried... when we cruised on NCL 2 years back (on youngest DD's 2nd b'day- she'll be 4 end of Sept) they weren't a fan of their kids' club (oldest was 4 yrs old at the time, so that might have a lot to do with it as well)- so we have waited almost exactly 2 years in hopes they'll stay, chose DCL (what cruiseline is better for kids then Disney?!?!), and now hopefully they'll make some great friends! :)

Our now 5dd (she was 4 during our other 2 DCL cruises) got angry at us because we wold make her leave the kids club to eat with us! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Steph- I am about an hour from NYC- are your girls American Girl fans? The American Girl Cafe is wonderful- but hard to get ressies- and it is blocks away from the world of Disney Store which is AWESOME!

15dd (Pirana) saw this post before me (and let out a squeal!). We've been American Girl doll fans here for 17yrs....23dd got her first doll for her 6th b-day. :teeth: 15dd tells me that she is bringing her Samantha Doll! My personal favorite is Felicity. :) I wonder which Doll 23dd will want to bring with her...... :teeth: Of course we won't be able to let 5dd know that we are going there!!!!! :rolleyes1

HI!

I'm still working on mine ... Everyone else's are so great that, that I am having creative paralysis.

DH likes them... I think they are ok.

P.S. I did have the fried pickles yesterday at state fair. Interesting. But it's a been there, done that, now and I probably won't order them again. ;) But we did eat them all. There were Vlasic Kosher dill spears, batter and deep fried. I actually thought they needed salt, amazingly enough!

It's supposed to be there for one month and it got there July 19th I believe. My DH drove us all around to get the best view and by far the best thing to do is go to Cabrillo Beach. You can park above the entrace so that parking is free and walk down. We took our tripod out on the sand up to the water to get that shot. My dd6 played in the water while we were photographing.

It was neat to go back to the port after cruising out of there to take the Magic home last year. But it was sad to go over the Vincent Thomas Bridge and not see her beautiful Red Mickey stacks!

Here is a link for the port.

Do we have any SCUBA divers on this cruise? I think the St. Thomas dive is sold out, but no one on our thread has listed it on the excursion page of our site. My DS was planning to do a non-Disney dive (early dive) with shoretrips.com, but they need at least one more diver to insure the trip will run. It's through the St. Thomas Dive Club. Non-diving family members can hang out at Bolongo Bay Beach, where the dive shop is located.

If anyone is interested, please sign up so that the excursion will be confirmed. Is anyone diving at any of our other ports?

Great picture of the Black Pearl. Steph-I also loved your pictures. It is so nice of everyone to share all of their great pics.

I'm not a diver, but I would like to know your DS's opinion of his dive. I have a friend who is a diver and we are looking to take a trip in a few months. He wants to dive and is trying his best into talking me into diving. Still not sure about that one. He's dove all over Cali and the Grand Caymans. But wants to dive the Carib.

I am so sorry for all of you who have to fly here. If anyone would like for me to pick up anything for them at the store to bring to them on the ship, just let me know. I only have an hour drive from my house the the terminal.

Steph: Loved the pictures, thanks for sharing them.

J&K'sprincessmommy: Where in Long Island are you? I grew up in Coram, then lived in Holbrook and Ronkonkoma before I moved to FL.

Clayton can talk to you about it on the cruise after St. Thomas, if he gets to go! I wish I could dive, but my doctor won't allow it with the blood pressure meds I'm on. You also have to be a very strong swimmer, which I'm not that good. Clayton had to swim four pool lengths without stopping, just to begin the open water dive course. He has some US dives, but this will be his first Caribbean one!

I hope it makes!
DH would love to dive but, since he is the only one in the family that dives -- he's wanted me to for years.... I can't figure out what he doesn't understand... I HATE the beach, I really dislike swimming (I can swim quite well but, I don't like sunscreen or sand!), etc..... If he tells me one more time *It's not anything like swimming.* hhhmmmm it's in the water - I call that swimming! :rotfl:
26ds wants to dive... mabe we'll pay for lessons in the spring for his b-day. :teeth:

My DB and DSIL both dive. They are planning now for their 20th Anny and trying to figure out where they want to go diving. I've always wanted to, but never had the nerve to do it. LOL so far he's talked me into it. But the trip is still several months off and it all depends on where we end up going.

When I was in Fiji a few from our group went diving. They said sharks were everywhere. I'm like an you STILL got in the water?? :confused3 First shark I see would be the end of me!!

I know when many people travel they don't want contact with the outside world, but I do want yall to know that my cell will work on any of the islands we are going too. So if something should come up. (Although I hope not.) Just find me and your more than welcome to use it.

Stephanie, thanks for sharing your pictures. :thanks:

Its almost torture watching them. We still have 3 1/2 weeks to go. Arrggghhh

We went to Party City today and got the final Fish Ext gifts, Yay. Now I have to organize everything.

My FisH Ext is done except for the dowel rod which Jim has to do and the Names which Sarah has to do as my hand writing is atrocious. I can't even read it. :rotfl2:

We had to flea treat the main part of the house today so spent the morning rounding up 5 our our 7 cats to put them safely in the room that has already been treated. The term slippery as a greased pig comes to mind for a couple of them. :bitelip:

Then we had to leave the house for 4 hours so we went to Fort Myers to shop. The sacrifices I make for my pets :rolleyes1

The good news for me:My right leg is almost completely healed except for the blood clot. That is under control with medication so my right leg is good to go for the cruise.
The bad news: I have to have my left leg done on the 22nd. :guilty: It should be mostly healed by the cruise though. I do not plan to miss this cruise.

We are driving up to the port so if we can bring anything for anyone just pm me, OK?

I'm glad to hear the right leg is doing better! I'll be praying for you the morning of the 22nd! (that's my about to turn 23dd's b-day)

Thanks, Stephanie!

By the way, your daughters are absolutely beautiful. The 3 that were on the cruise in the photos seem to get along quite well. Another plus.

Thank you! The pics are of DH, me, 14dd, 7ds & 4dd. :)
All 5 of the kids get along very well. 23dd & 5dd are JUST alike. :teeth:

Well we had a scary morning. My grandma adopted two down syndrom boys when they were children and a brain damaged boy. Now they are adults and we live next door to them. One of them gave us a scare this morning when he had a seizure. He has never had one before so we were worried. We called the ambulance and they had him at the hospital all day. He had another at the hospital too. They still don't know what is causing the seizures, they ruled out the usual suspects, so we have to take him for more tests next week and to a neurologist. Hopefully then they will know what is going on. We are so glad this happened now and not when we were on the trip. My sister is going to come stay here while we are gone, but having the whole family here helps. Now at least we can control the seizures and the rest will hopefully be solved soon.
