Hi Celia,

I got the picture of our fish extender you sent me. It looks really good !!

Gary uploaded the fish extender picture to his website. Click on the link below in my signature to view the picture.

I read somewhere that it must be commercially-prepared (not homemade), unopened, an in original packaging. You should be OK if you stay within those rules. Yumm...I can taste it now!

Sounds like a plan! We would be very happy to bring cheese. I mean it is a wine tasting afterall...you need something to cleanse the palate!

I know you can't bring food into the ports but anyone know if there is a reason we can't bring food onto the ship? If not, watch for some cheddar...coming to a ship near you soon! :tink:

Good morning,

Fish extenders are looking great. I think I need to get started on mine. I am thinking I may now need 3 suitcases

I purchased everything I need to make my pirate costume and my daughters...people that know I am doing this...just don't understand.. :rotfl2:

I have been ironing and packing every Disney shirt, socks, etc. I own for Ally and me!

The link to that website was showing a very nice website your hubby did...

I haven't heard back from The Occidental for the Pineapple Beach day

I have our transportation arranged...I love my friend Steve...always discounts my transfers, lol.

I have a BBQ today for my moms 60th birthday...so I won't be doing any packing or sewing today pirate: ...tomorrow I will start! (I hope)...although I have to find the lime green DIS shirt of my oldest daughters...she is a member of DIS and I got her a bunch of items from the store....

Have a great day everyone...

Steph, One quick question. :listen: Have you heard from First Timers recently. I knew they were going away for a few days but I have not seen a post from them. I hated to make a seperate post but was worried about them. :teeth:

No I haven't! I'm sure they are very busy! I hope he can catch up with all this reading. :rotfl2:

Great pictures!! I had done 2 ship inspections on the Wonder before, but Feb was the first time I had ever sailed on her. So this will be my 2nd sailing and 4th time to be on her.

When in Feb? We sailed on her in Feb, also. ;-) We were in CC on 8ds son's 8th b-day, Feb 11th. :teeth: 15dd was soooo jealous.
She was turning 15 the month after. Next year for her 16th b-day 23dd & myself are taking her to NYC - it was originally going to be WDW or DL but, the other kids about had a stroke! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks all for the kind words on the "fish extender". I really had a fun time putting it together.

DisneyGirlTinkerbell: Please add us to your list of folks going to Pineapple Beach. I called and they said "we don't need reservations. Just come over". I also emailed them, "just in case". We'd love to find others to share transportation or a group transportation.

I'm now working on Pirate Night costume.

Where are all the other folks on our cruise? Come on out of hiding/lurking and say hello! We'd love to hear from you.

Does anyone know if there will be a character breakfast on our cruise?

Add me to the list of not hearing back from Pineapple Beach yet :( We definately want to go... I have emailed them everyday for almost a week now & I haven't heard back from them yet.

Tinkerme1- I guess that is good news for those of us who don't have a formal ressie yet, but it still makes me uneasy.

We were on there Jan 29th-Feb 2nd. So we missed each other by about 2 weeks. My parents did this trip as a Christmas gift for all of us kids and grandkids. They paid for it all. We had a great time.

I'm betting there will be more than one on this cruise. On a 7 night there is usually 2. The days at sea.

I wonder who the characters will be though.

We only had one character breakfast on our 14 night Panama Canal Cruise last year so I would think it would be one for this cruise also.

We did call and get our cabin assignment this morning even though we were a guarantee. No upgrade though (we were already category 5, so it wasn't expected). I am surprised that we are very far aft since we signed up before some people who received midship assignments, BUT we are very close to many of the people on this board...AND we are sailing with Mickey...so, yeah!!!

We are in 7632.

I have to go work on my fish extender now...

Hello Linda,

Glad to see you received your Cabin #. I'm sure that helps ease your mind. I think you have a great cabin!

Linda I'm glad you did call and get the #. And like you said you are sailing with the Mick it doesn't matter where you are.

For character breakfasts does that mean I have to get up early to eat :rotfl2:

We are all here! ! !

We went to The Port of Los Angeles on Friday to see the Black Pearl. We then went to Disneyland for a few hours followed by a dinner at Goofy's Kitchen for Goofyguy777 DW's Birthday dinner!

Now we are home and it's sewing time for my DD6 pirate dress!
Wish me luck LOL!

Here are a few pics of our day on Friday!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Kirsty

Hey Chipper I love your fish extender! You did a great job on it!

LOL that is what I thought when I read the post. Sleep? Who's going to sleep? You can sleep when you get home! :lmao:

The girls will be thrilled there will be a character meal! Though I don't think we'll tell them just in case ;)

Renee- my youngest DD had the same dance recital outfit this past year! (pink tutu)- she actually had a crown and matching doll as well- will she be cruising with us as well?

GREAT pic's Kristy! What a fun night! Will your DD be cruising with us too?

I am so happy there will be enough kids on the cruise to keep my girlies happy! :Pinkbounc I was really worried... when we cruised on NCL 2 years back (on youngest DD's 2nd b'day- she'll be 4 end of Sept) they weren't a fan of their kids' club (oldest was 4 yrs old at the time, so that might have a lot to do with it as well)- so we have waited almost exactly 2 years in hopes they'll stay, chose DCL (what cruiseline is better for kids then Disney?!?!), and now hopefully they'll make some great friends! :)

Next year for her 16th b-day 23dd & myself are taking her to NYC - it was originally going to be WDW or DL but, the other kids about had a stroke!
Steph- I am about an hour from NYC- are your girls American Girl fans? The American Girl Cafe is wonderful- but hard to get ressies- and it is blocks away from the world of Disney Store which is AWESOME!

:cool1: My kinda crowd! :woohoo:

If anyone wants extra character breakfast tickets, let me know. We never use ours since the boys are WAY past that stage:rotfl: . BTW--thought I would mention I have Sea World tickets too, if anyone would like to visit before or after the cruise.

That's odd that Pineapple Beach said you didn't need a ressie. They sent me an email confirmation and everything. I'll mention it when I call them about the transportation. I am also booking a spa treatment too.
