No, I wasnt kidding about the size of NCL cabins. A cat. 11 on DCL is almost twice as big as a NCL room with a window!

I would love to! Which day...... I have no idea! LOL! How do I know in advance what is going on elsewhere on the ship that I might want to do??
I know DH wants to do the beer tastings......the tequila tastings......
Not that he has to be in the stateroom at the time -- dh is fairly shy and doesn't talk much. I tell most people that I'm his spokesperson.

And I would love for us to do a stateroom tour. Our older children have a Cat 8.

All this talk about bringing gifts for fellow Disers got me thinking(WHOA, everyone, step aside, she's thinking!)

What if we were able to arrange something to bring gifts for the local school children at a/each port? I remember reading a post where some local school children gathered at the pier to watch the "Mickey ship" come in, and I think DCL even arranged for some characters to come off the ship for a meet 'n greet. We'd probably have to figure out who to contact at DCL(cruise director, maybe?) to see if this would be possible. If anyone else thinks it's a good idea and something our group could pull off, I'd be happy to volunteer to try to and contact DCL.

ALSO, I think it might be useful if we had a website with all of the important information on it. I've found it hard to sift through all of the posts and figure out all of what's going on DIS-wise.(Gatherings, parties, stateroom tours, etc.) I know that there is stuff listed on the very first post, but I think a website would be even easier! I would volunteer to set up the site if everyone thinks it might be useful(that's what I do for a living...)

Last night we had a terrible storm here with winds of over 60 miles an hour. Going to try and get some sleep.

At the moment the vist of the outlaws, sorry I mean in-laws is bearable. Helen's step-mother is just so loud.

The weather here is geting hotter and hotter each day and today it is expected to be the hottest July day since 1911. At the time of writing this ,it's 11:30 in the morning (so in Florida you are still sleeping as it is 6.30) and it's scorching hot outside.
