I can't wait to book excursions this week!!!! I am not sure what time I should get up to book on Thursday morning?

Heidi & Sandy - I believe its Friday morning that we can book excursions, palo, spa, etc.... from what Ive heard its 3AM EST.

Oh Ginny. I just read your tag by the tag fairy. How wonderful to have been tagged by something that BEAUTIFUL!! Very special.

Any runner's in the group?

My wife and I were wondering if anyone had tried running before at any of the ports. We are interested in running on dry land a time or two during the cruise if possible. Anyone have any experience doing so?

Sandy - 3Am is just online. DCL doesnt open til 8AM.

Thanks for the kind words about my tag. The tag fairy found me about 2 years ago after the tragic death of my 34 year old brother in a plane crash. My brother was a very special guy and I still miss him every day.

:sad1:

 Hugs for you.

So I guess if we can book on Friday that means I have to stay up late or get up early to book at 1:00am Mountain Standard time. Thank goodness that is my day off. I was thinking we could book on Thursday, glad it was clarified to Friday!!!

Another question....sorry!!!

Does anyone have an estimate what tips will be per person for 10 nights?

According to my Passporter the tips are as follows:
Dining Room Server-$3.75 per night per person
Dining Room Assistant Server-$2.75 per night per person
Dining Room Head Server-$1.00 per night per person
Stateroom Host-$3.60 per person per night

Hope this helps.

Responded on other thread. I need your names for the nametags. Alex

Ginny, I am so sorry to hear about the tragic death of your brother. My mom suddenly died this past Oct. I know how hard it is to accept. While her death wasn't as tragic as your brothers, the unexpected is hard.

Thanks Smola for the tip info. Now I know how much change I need to save up. I never spend any coins. I just put it away daily and turn it in for bills periodically and voila, I have tip money.

Whazzapp is from Indiana.

Tracey - 36 - 37th bday on 9/9
Staci (DW) - 32
Brody (DS) - 4 - 5th bday on 9/13
Kade (DS) - 3

We have a 3rd DS that will not be joining us. He will be 2 in October. He gets to stay home with the grandparents. I am sure we will hear about that when he becomes a teen. :lmao:

Thanks Smola for the tip information, that really will help me to budget.

What is everyone planning for excursions? I usually have it all wrapped up by now or just wing it. I have ZERO plans on this one. Not even going to Palo for dinner.

I am so mad I could spit nails! LOL!

I didn't have a problem booking online with our other 2 cruises.

Now that's scary. Cat 1 having problems. Did you call them?? I think I would if I were you to beat all of us on Friday! Our friend that had the Walt suite didn't have an ounce of problems by calling. They were there to help. DCL bent over backwards to accomodate her and us. Cat 1 is an awesome experience. Take advantage while you have it.

Just thought I would let you all know Southwest has $59 flights to orlando. So happy I hadn't booked my airfare and that I am a bargain shopper. We can fly out of Providence now instead of Boston. And I am gonna save so much money. More to spend on the cruise. :cheer2:

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my signature?

Well on your first link at the end where it says the

On the second link it should be [ING] and not [/ING] Hope that helps

Stepht5, I hope they get all the bugs worked out so you can book your excursions.

So far the excursions we are leaning towards are as follows.

St. Thomas- Magen's Bay Beach Break
Antigua- Off Road 4x4 Jeep Safari Adventure
Barbados-5 star catamaran and turtle encounter

We have not picked anything for St. Lucia yet. Does anyone have a suggestion? What excursions are the rest of you planning?
