I can't believe that I broke and bought Claire *Butterscotch* -- a 3ft tall *pony* that moves, etc.... It's as tall as her!!!!! Someone up to 80lbs can ride it -- Samantha said *Claire won't hit 80lbs until she's a teenager!*
Claire wanted a *real* puppy and with Brian's unnatural fear of animals a puppy is OUT! Samantha & I thought the pony was a good substitute.
I am NOT the type to buy large gifts for the children -- I leave it up to Jon to be the *fun* parent!!!! But, this was just too good to pass up!!! But, Santa is getting credit for this one.

Butterscotch is SOOOOO CUTE!!! Our Target displays was broken by some 12-13 yr old boys, so she is sitting in the backroom! I love petting on it. She will LOVE it!!!!!!

I have just looked it up on the net and your "Labor Day" is on the 1st of September which is my 41st birthday. Like last year we intend having dinner in Le Cellier in Epcot. I have just checked with Helen and we fly home on Monday the 4th of September (in time for school) so it looks as though our paths will cross.

It's hard work getting Helen on the computer - I'm contemplating buying her a laptop for Christmas - I've even registered ger on the disboards but she hasn't posted yet.

Glad to hear most everyone is finished with the Christmas shopping...or at least have a good start! That tends to make the season hetic and we forget to enjoy the important part of Christmas...faith, friends and family.

My son is getting engaged this Christmas. The wedding will be somewhere in Michigan but will be small. At least this time I like his choice!!!! It makes life easier if you at least like the person joining the family.

I was thinking about them the other day... i was lookng at some cruise pics and I saw one from the Ducky talk.... I thought of Steve telling them to remix the tickets!
I thought it was Kirsty's dh that had an interview in the Midwest area? Near Cheryl?

You were right it was Kirsty maybe going to move but plans changed. They did not want to leave all their family. I can't blame them. I wish them the best!! Kirsty did a private pm because I was curious if they were to be neighbors.

Any plans on coming to Mt. Prospect??? Spring would be nice!!!!!!!

It's just gone mid-night here in the UK so Father Christmas is busy about his work already.

We have had a relaxing evening at thome and the children have gone to bed in the last 30 mins (at last).

Helen and I have some preparation to do with presents and then we will conclude with a nice drink.

All that leaves is for me and Helen to wish our friends who we met on the 10 Day cruise in September a joyous and peaceful Christmas and with a hope that you are safe and warm with you loved ones through the festive days ahead.

Santa gifts have been opened and are being played with -- Butterscotch is a HIT with Claire! LOL! Claire and Elvis are now in the den (near me) playing with Elvis's Legos that Santa brought him!
I think he is disappointed (just a little!) that Santa didn't have an *unlimited amount of Wii's*..... I told him that Santa knows that his b-day is in 6 wks! LOL!

I've already cooked the ham and the turkey is in the oven now. Katherine & her fiance, my dad, both brothers and their significant others, a neice (16) and my mom are going to be here sometime between 1 - 2 for lunch and gifts.

This day would be perfect if it wasn't for the fact that I woke up to a refrigerator that died -- it is about 3yrs old...... luckily we have an extra frig in the garage (and a deep freezer) for the food. The refrigerator in the garage was bought for our first house 23yrs ago!!! LOL!
The down side is that we have no ice -- I haven't decided if any of us want to get out and buy some! LOL!
Poor dh has already gone up to the office 3 times since 6 am...... The warehouse alarm keeps going off.... And for some reason the Warehouse manager can't be reached...hhmm... I wonder why not? Luckily the office is only about 5 -7 minutes from our home.

I have been to Dino's a couple of times as well. I know that Colfax is going through a rehab and not sure if the restaurant got bought out. (that would be my Dh's job if it did so you can blame him!)

I hope Dino's is still there! I think it has been close to 2 yrs since we've been to Denver and I know that our 8ds wants to go back SOON -- he loves the aquarium there! LOL!
Dino's is one of the few places that you could still get homemade pasta! yummy!

DH & I (and our 26ds) 24yrs ago! LOL! We only lived there a year -- dh was an assistant manager and he was waiting for the Ft Worth store to open.

Congrats!!! It is an amazing system but can get very expensive!!! Be sure to rent the games before you buy or open them!!! There are a few that are no good!!!!!!!

I had asked Samantha a week or two ago if she had anyone's address..... I am sending out *New Year* cards. I had all of those cards made on the ship! I better use them.

DH is going to be going to England/UK quite a bit over the next year. They are opening a place somewhere in the UK in 2007. And he is *in charge* of the process.

Your lucky we only have a PS2 so we have to figure out what to buy now!!! Right now we only have the sports (which is the best) and of coarse Zelda.
