9/7/06 10 night Wonder Southern Caribbean "Cruising in WONDERland!"

We are flying direct from Pittsburgh on Southwest Thursday night. I'd like to request that all DISers living in Florida go outside, face the direction of Ernesto on Thursday at 8 AM, take a deep breath in, Huff and Puff and BLOW him away!

I guess everyone misunderstood your request and took that deep breath to blow Ernesto away Sunday night at 8PM. Todays update down graded Ernesto to a tropical storm and moved the path to a more northerly direction. Ernesto is now coming up through Key West sooner than expected and more easterly than prevously thought. Ernesto may be through Central Florida by Thursday! The power of DISers is amazing!!! Alex

took our 2 1/2 yo DGS with us. He loves trains. We rode the monorail, then we rode the train around the MK (twice) and he got to be the guest conductor. We stood in the back of the last car with the conductor and she put the microphone by him and told him to say "all aboard". As a train nut he had heard that before (Thomas the train probably) and clearly said all aboard. They announced his name and age, and everyone on the train clapped. We did toon town, rode it's a small world, ate popcorn, then rode the monorail again and got to be in the front car with the monorail operator. His feet didn't touch the ground for the entire day he was so excited. His grandparents were excited too because they live in Pensacola we we only get to see him 3-4 times per year.

It sounds like a wonderful day for all of you!!!

Can you believe this???? OUr 26ds tells us yesterday that he can't remember our trip to WDW (when he was 8). He doesn't remember anything from that trip....... He told us that he knows he went because he's seen my scrapbook with the pictures!

We were horribly neglectful parents and only took our older children to WDW once. We did take them on all kinds of other wonderful trips all over the US and to Mexico & Germany. We LOVE to travel!

I can't believe that he has no memory of the trip...... And we were also terrible and didn't know that you should stay on property We have changed our ways and now know how much FUN it is to stay on property.

DO I need to add or subtract anyone??? Do you want your stateroom Cat or # added? At one time we had talked about doing a stateroom tour of the different Catagories. Someone else will have to arrange the tour -- I've reached my limit of things I can be in charge of!

3 - 3:45pm (until time to get ready for the drill) on Deck 10 right above Scoops? It's above the Mickey pool on the right side (as you face the front of the ship)toward the back of the ship so it shouldn't be too crowded.

IAlos at 4:30 since some of won't be arriving until ater in the afternoon. The 4:30 can be at the same place as the 3pm one....... I know several of my group will be down in front of the band but, we all don't have to be down there.

In case of rain we will meet in the Promenade lounge at the same time.

Thanks, again for all of the work you are doing! You are awesome and so kind to be in charge of so much!

I am willing to organize the stateroom tour. I think it could be a lot of fun!!! We could even order room service in a few rooms along the way to have snacks and such on our tour. Geesh we could make a day of it.

If anyone would be so kind as to let us see your room, please PM me and I will work on getting it all set up. Also, lets see if there is an interest in going!! Let me know if you would like to go so we can see if it is worth setting up in the first place. I'll take the first offer on each stateroom category and we'll go from there.

I was thinking maybe Thursday, September 14th at about 2pm. This is another sea day. Let me know if your interested and if the time sounds good!

I am in a Cat 5 and we can certainly see my room during the tour.

Hi guys! I've missed EVERYTHING! I've been gone from the boards for so long. I had so much going on. Most of you know, DH got home from Iraq and (apparently) the next day we got pregnant. But we have been talking for months about this cruise. In Iraq all he would say over the phone is "I can't wait for this cruise. I just want to relax. I just can't wait." We are BOTH glad that the wait is almost over. DM (sandysplayhouse) has kept me up to date on alot of things being said on the boards. But I'd like to jump back in and try to be more of an active DISer before we all head off to our vacations.

Ernesto is now expected to come over south FL and exit to the north east near Daytona at 5PM Weds. That brings it very close to Kennedy Space Center and they may roll the shuttle back to the building which postones the launch. The launch window extends thru Sept. 7th. Those coming in before the cruise might get to see a launch, maybe on the 7th? That would be awesome. Alex

I am very sorry I havnt been posting on here very much..

I am trying to get my head above water so I can sail with all of you.

I shipped my box down to Disney already, I am no where near being packed. My list of things to do is over welming..

I am totally lost when it comes to these boards...Cant seem to quite get a grip as top what all is planned and who is planning what. I would like to contribute as much as I can. I have included in my box a couple bottles of wine form my area.
I know I want to do the wine taste with all of you, I purchased my fish extender, I have all of my gifts for the fish extender...
