9/7/06 10 night Wonder Southern Caribbean "Cruising in WONDERland!"

Well I got my "base sunburn" on Saturday at the local water park. Now just 7 more pounds to go in the next 10 days and I might be able to fit into my cruise clothes (as long as all 7 pounds come off my hips ). I think I actually succeeded in putting together a fish extender using fusable hem tape and my iron. Now to tackle the door magnets...

Nothing would make me happier right now then to be 7lbs lighter on my hips!!!

DD just moved out on Friday (again...long story) so I have put every suitcase we own into the room so that when I pack (which won't be until the day we leave) I can choose the best combination of sizes.

I am personally in no hurry for the grandchildren thing. I told my kids that I didn't want any until I was at least 50. Well I made it. Now I just hope that they actually get married someday (and stay married and and don't want to move back home again). I did start saving the best toys as Bryan (now 14) grows out of them so that I would have them for grandchildren (I am never parting with the zillion dollars worth of Legos; they will go with me to my grave).

I can certainly understand that you would prefer they be married first! LOL! Dh & I would make wonderful grandparents! DH is already planning on letting them do what ever they want and telling them they don't have to listen to their parents.
23dd is getting married in Oct '07. Her future MIL is already telling them how much she wants to be a grandmother asap!

OK... because my head has been IN cloud 9... I must have missed something on the news or on the boards... has the launch been rescheduled to our sail date?

NASA Scrubbed the launch due to the weather. They are possibly going to try again in September (no date annouced). It was just a joke between me and Amlee, cause she wanted it to launch on the day we are going on our cruise. I told her that she shouldn't have bad thoughts like that cause it would take forever to get to port.

So no date yet and nothing to worry about.....LOL (I hope)

Do you sit at the airport and wait very long until the buses are full ?
What time are you arriving at the airport AMLEE ?

It is really just a matter of minutes. You go down to the ME area.... get in line to *check in* with Disney -- even if the line looks really long it only takes about 4 mins. Then you go to the lines for the bus, just a few feet away...again it only takes a few mins...

The best part you don't even have to touch your luggage once you check it in at your home airport.

I am just trying to keep my head above water ...lol
I feel like I am drowning fast in all of this planning... I have only made my excursion booking for Antigua.. I need to get onto this as well.

We are taking DCL transfers both ways. Our flight gets in at 9:30 so we should hit the first bus to port just about right. Our return flight is not until 5:30 so originally I planned to rent a car and visit Kennedy. But after thinking about it I decided that DS and I would probably be totally bored there (DH likes that kind of thing because his father was an engineer for a lot of the space projects, but he has already visited it once), and I would be stressing about getting back to the airport on time. Last time I rented a car in Orlando it was a nightmare - almost got towed and nearly missed my flight - so we decided it would be much more relaxing to rent a day room at the Hyatt until time for our flight and not have to hassle with the luggage.

We waited about 10 minutes at the tops, but we filled the bus up when we got there. Our plane lands at 1pm on the 7th.

They have already started the character breakfast on the Wonder, so yes. I'm also sure they will do the others also.

They are REALLY EASY to do! The kits include all materials, and I'll bring glue. If you have a bone folder, bring it - If you don't have one or know what it is, DON'T WORRY!

Hey Steve and any other left-coasters taking the red-eye on the 6th - anyone flying Delta connecting in Atlanta? I am just wondering if any of us will be on the same flight (Delta 1585) from Atlanta to MCO on Thursday morning.

Sorry Carol, we are on a non-stop from LAX To MCO. With two kids in our Family (Shelby -1 and Niece - 6), we needed something that would takes us direct.

I just got home from a long, boring day at work. I'm glad you were able to still get together for lunch. I only wish I could have joined you. But I'm glad you had a good time without me!

We're takin the isney transfers too and our flight is not until 7:00 PM so we plan on camping out in the terminal. Should we have Steph plan an event for us? Only kidding, Steph!
