I'm thinking about a 9:35pm reservation at California Grill on a MVMCP night. What's the deal with the fireworks? I understand Wishes is on at 9:30, so can we watch it before taking our seats?

Maybe.

You have to first check-in downstairs (an elevator really) and if you arrive early, they may be willing to let you upstairs early to grab a cocktail and go outside to see fireworks before being seated.

You are not going to be guaranteed and Disney is limited by Occupancy in CA Grill.

If you're ADR was a bit sooner, I'd be more optimistic.

Try calling for an earlier time.

Try 9 or 9:15. The server will instruct you where to watch wishes. This signature is a long experience.

Is a 7PM reservation too early to be there for the fireworks on a MVMCP night?

We did 9.35 earlier in the year and this worked just fine for us. We showed up about 10 minutes early and were seated straight away. This was during a weeknight but we actually had a view of Wishes from our table.
