Cruise Meetup!

Hey all! Let's meetup on ship and put names to faces!

Embarkation Day at 3:15 pm at Goofy's Galley, Deck 9 Aft, next to Mickey's Pool! Goofy's will have soft serve ice cream, fresh fruit and other snacks available.

(Muster is at 4:15 pm, with events right after.)

Looking forward to meeting everyone for an ice cream social!

We booked Oct 2 leaving on the 3rd. Will walk in that morning, check in and check out at the same time. HTH's...

Halloween and pirate costume are ready!! Tempted to pull out my suitcase already but must restrain myself.

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday to get the last of the things I need for our Halloween costumes. We don't dress up for pirate night but we do make an effort with a pirate t-shirt each. I love Halloween though, Christmas is my favorite holiday, but Halloween is 2nd. I can't wait to have an excuse to wear our costumes.

Assuming our plans all work out as they should, this time in 2 weeks we will be about to embark on Happy Hour in Galveston having just checked into our hotel. I can't wait! I am very ready for this vacation.

Welcome!! How exciting to have 2 weeks left to plan and get ready. It will be here before we know it. I will get my packing list squared away this week and then all that's left is to get packed and get on board.

You will find a lot of things in these boards that are recommendations. I like to keep it simple. . Read your navigators so you know what is available. Don't stress over trying to get everything done as it is impossible. If you have children traveling with you then try and get some adult time at Cove pool - it is so nice and relaxing there - and the kids have some great activities that they can do in the kids clubs.

Above all, relax, enjoy your vacation and take lots of photos! LOL

Hi! I'm super new! We will be sailing on 9/28 from Galveston with DH, 2 DD (5 & almost 2) and my mom.

I am soooo behind! I had no idea about 90% of the onboard events, i.e., trick-or-treating, pirate night, etc.

Time for some super fast research. Is there a good thread out there that might be able to give me the best info?

I'm going to go back and read all of these pages in this thread. I already saw one post about saving $200 for the aquaventure.

Welcome! I know it must seem intimidating to have booked at the last minute and then find out about all the onboard stuff going on, but don't stress over it too badly. Pirate night can be just as fun without any type of costume, although if you can find something to throw together for the kids they would probably really enjoy it. You can always buy some pirate gear in the gift shop onboard too, although of course it's not super cheap.
