I have been watching the travel network. It had shows on Disneyland, then Disney world, then Disney cruises.

It's hot and humid here in Florida today which is typical summer weather for here.

Had a nasty thunderstorm last night.

I have been watching lots of shows about WDW this morning. I have seen them many times but I still enjoy seeing them,

That's great. Our last tour gave us a pin with a steam train on it for doing the Roundhouse tour at MK.

Any chance you can provide information about the Roundhouse Tour?

It was a great tour, worth every cent. The round house isn't round LOL!! Monorails go there too upstairs above the trains.

You get into MK before it opens which makes a great photo of nobody on main street. After the character train pulls up at opening they do a performance, then you board their train (which is different than normal trains there) and ride to the roundhouse.
Your guide is full of information about the trains and Walt.

You are not allowed inside the roundhouse for safety reasons but you can stand there and look right in as they do safety checks on the train.
You do stand for awhile during this part while you learn a lot of stuff. Then 2 at a time you get to climb into the engine where he tells you about it. Then you ride back to the park for a break with free water or coffee, then up to the train station to sit and listen and see photos of Walt and his trains. Then your given the pin and its over. Your guide will be a trained engineer, so he is very smart when it comes to answering questions.

It lasted almost 4 hours. You can take photos almost anywhere accept while riding on the train. It was worth the money in my opinion. I have photos if you want to see them.

Mine has been an extra quiet one for a change which is fine with me. Nice to have a relaxing weekend now and then.

I am going to watch the Dream pull out tonight on the web cam. I hope they don't get dumped rain on like the Fantasy did. We have been getting nasty afternoon thunderstorms a lot lately.

I've actually got the camera up now just looking at her. I zoomed in on the sat picture and discovered it's actually a picture of the Magic or Wonder and not the Dream! Dave thought it quite scary that I could tell! Easy looking at pool configurations!

I hadn't looked yet today but I know I have seen the Magic there recently since it is a port for their guests.
Soon the DCL ships will be shifting their locations around again.

The Dream IS in port, but the satellite picture, not the webcam picture, is an old one and actually shows the Magic.

I just listened to them sound the horns for Noon :

I see you have been to Disney Theme Parks before ... care to share what made you consider a Disney Cruise? You know what they say ... "once you sail DCL ... you'll never go back!" Honestly, if you like WDW or Disneyland even the slightest bit ... you will LOVE Disney Cruise Line!

My sister raves about DCL! She and some friends decided to take this trip so we thought it would be good timing to go as well. We cruised Alaska last month with another line and had a blast. I'm sure we will love DCL just as much.
