I think we are across the hallway from each other.

I am new to the FE thing. I read some of the boards on FE's. From what I understood it is a gift one day. Unless some people do lots of little things seperately. I think I am just putting mine together lilke a goody bag.

Hope to see you (at least in the halls) in 19 days and a wake up.

I'm not sure if there are hard and fast rules for FE. On my 3 day, I spread out when I gave each cabin their goodies. I'll probably do that a bit here too. Like hit floor 2 at one time, 6th floor the next, and the 8th another. I think on longer cruises they do more once a day type stuff, but that isn't all that necessary on the shorter cruises.

I can tell you that I'm making one delivery to each cabin - otherwise you spend the whole cruise making deliveries.

Funny story, I was coming out of my cabin when one family was dropping something into my FE. You should have seen the look on the little boys face! He was so wanting to surprise me and I surprised him. I quickly shut my door and waiting a few minutes before leaving. AFter that I began to look out the keyhole to make sure I wasn't going to startle anyone else.

Megan..so cool!!! If you are *anywhere* in the hotel, I'm sure you'll meet us, Sarah is a future Ambassador in training (She's not too sure about dogs, but as long as they have a person with them, she will just jump into a conversation with you..lol)

Sarah is *finally* getting excited about the trip! She's seen the video's, loves the movies, but she decided a few weeks ago she want's to go back to the Princess castle, and we can go on the boat lol. Today I showed her the luggage tags with her name on it....boyyyyyyyyyy she was off and throwing clothes in her lil backpack. She want's to go NOW.

Thanks for the clarification on the FE's. We were starting to stress a little bit. I'm going out of town on Saturday and when I get back on Wednesday that only leaves a week to get everything together and packed. DH had nightmares of me trying to make a different gift for every night, but he feels sooooooo much better now.

No docs yet for us. I imagine we should have them soon. We booked through DU so I guess they get them first. I waited this long...whats a few more days.

I got most packing done, only a few things we are still wearing to weather here cools off. Trying to minimize. HAHAHA

Going to start on FE gifts this week. Oops....I need a space for them in the luggage.....

We booked through DVC.
Called (09/08) DCL to see if cruise docs where sent out yet. She said that they went on on 09/03/09 3 day UPS. She tracked them for me and they are scheduled for delivery today 09/09/09

Megan, sounds like JoJo is going to be Miss Popularity. My daughter can't wait to meet her; especially because we'll be missing our pup Mickey.

Hi,

I see that most of you have early dining. We currently have late dining. I'm really debating about whether or not to try and change to early dining when onboard. With late dining you don't have to rush to get ready for dinner, than again it might be too late for DD and DS (8)
Any thoughts would be appreciated

I hope everyone got the information I sent by now. Glad I could lessen your stress Laurio.

I started on my cool thing for everyone, but still need to work on it. Too tired the last couple of nights. Working tonight. Maybe I'll get them finished tomorrow or Friday.

I haven't gotten my docs yet. I'll have to email my TA to see if she knows anything.

I thought I was going to, and got everything together, and just needed to put magnets and print stuff out... but now I'm thinking I am going to bag it all.

I'm mostly worried about it all getting stolen after all my hard work! LOL

I feel the same way. I was going to make FE gifts, and trust me, I am not crafty, but I was going to try....NOT just bought cute stuff to give out. As far as the door, only thing there will be FE and maybe welcome home magnet from DCL. I am packed and ready to go and want to relax. Saving the extra money for the trip

I know, call me crazy...my DH does HAHAHA Anyway, I have a relay good packing list and it got cool here in Jersey early this year so I packed and repacked and repacked again. Making sure everything had a place. Gives me something to do to kill time .

OK now I don't feel bad if I don't do the magnets. Maybe will just do some Mickey ears. Finally finished my FE. Wrote our names on with fabric paint and of course DH had to touch the paint before it was dry and smudged it.
Now will have to redo that part. He's worse than the kids sometimes.
