For all of you experienced DCL cruisers...

Do I NEED to print off my cruise docs from the DCL website or just fill them out from my spiral bound cruise docs booklet that I received in the mail?

They look like the same thing but don't want to do/not do something I should/shouldn't!

I dont print off anything.. they remove the doc from the book.

Another day closer to the cruise We leave in 18 days for the drive down so time to get the last minute stuff around and see what I may have overlooked.

How are the rooms on electrical outlets? My husband sleeps with one of those CPAP machines for his sleep apnea so needs an outlet right by the bed, I picked up a power strip but was wondering if I also needed an extension cord?

Hey guys!
We had a great day today! Spent the day having a picnic at Fort Wilderness...I love living in Florida!!!
We grilled, played in the pool and had a wonderful family day!

Starting working on getting the stuff for our magnets to decorate our door. Cannot believe the cruise is THIS MONTH - FINALLY!!!

Good Morning!!! We're getting closer... besides work, what is everyone doing today to get ready to go? I will be working on my packing list for the cruise and post-cruise, but I take up a rather lengthy assignment today from my freshmen, so mostly, I'll be grading. Today my son starts a new online class with the homeschool co-op ~ I hope he enjoys it. Writing and literature are not his favorite subjects, so being part of a group of other kids (I am hoping) will rekindle his interest and effort. There is no harm in giving it a go

After that, I think I am going to try to look over and see what other things I need for the cruise and make a written list (my mental list seems to get lost a bit too often ) And maybe print off some more magnets ~ I've got 5 empty magnetic sheets left just waiting to be printed with something

Well in my head I'm all packed!!! But then it hit me, all my packing, planning, research and shopping has been been based on the assumption that we will have AWESOME weather. so now i'm wondering if i should wait to pack till the week of. the 1 thing that is out of my controll will have the biggest impact. oh how i am wishing for 85 degrees and blue skies!!!!

We are going out shopping today for more FE stuff! I am going to worry about my packing stuff the week before. If I do it now I will go crazy!

Just wanted to say how cool and kind of you to needs to share your paper. @ mimi- just an fyi. i got my paper from Michales and used coupon so it was 5$, also instead of printing on the paper itself consider printing your design on paper then cutting strips of the magnetic paper and adhering them on the back (will save you lots of paper). Or you can have your items printed at your local office store then have them lamanate (s/p?) them for you then you just cut and trim. I also someplace people were using the business card magnets that they may have at home (like the pizza place kind) or you can buy the box of the business card magnets (thats if you don't want to print on the whole page) hope you understood all this. trying to respond via my phone while out to eat.

Yes, I've gone the print it on paper and use magnets and also the print it on paper nad attach magnetic tape - I prefer the printed on magnet paper. I have lots from past cruises, so I know I will be making way too much for the door as it is, but I love changing it up; I'll be printing all I have ready to print nad combining iwth the older stuff to simply cover the door - I'm sure.

To all my AARP Cruise Friends. To all that are renting a car with AARP[ National ] car rental, the prices have come down today. Just saved $ 88.23, for a full size Chevrolet Impala for 8 days. It's like parking at the Port for FREE. ......Some more of MIMI's PIXIE DUST.

Afternoon all was just wondering if anyone else was staying at the Country Inn at port Canaveral the night before are cruise leaves? Also just noticed that some of you are right down the hall from us and Malone13 on the cruise . The job i am on right now is horrible starting at 9:00 pm at night cant get used to it only thing keeping me sane is this vacation. We cant wait 17 days till we leave Woot!

A heads up for you: when checking in at the desk, ask for the 4 th floor port side, rooms 400 to 420 [the even number rooms], that way you can see the ships come in [6am] on cruise day.We had room 400 last cruise in Sept 09. ..............PS bring some MICH . blue berries with. LOL LOL
