:banana: PARTY, WHAT, WHAT PARTY? MACKs going to throw a Dis party on Marks "V" with Beer ...does MIMI know about this? Did someone tell Jen?? She was suppose to stop at WAl Mart and get a grill for our steak cook out on Marks "V". Will this be ok w/ Shadio.....So little time W/ so much to do, will there be a Band at Macks beer Dis Board party that he is throwing on Marks "V' Are W/ all invited, who's coming?? I'll tell you W/ so so much to do. I can"t wait for the Mack Dis Board Beer party on Marks "V" .........OH! YES, I have a question , what kind of drinks will be served if you don't drink? And you thought I was :scared1: WIRED :scared1: BOYS & GIRLS........I can see right now we are going to have SOME-KIND- OF- FUN on this cruise. WOW! :lmao: :rotfl2:
I'm all for the party! If my husband has money enough(that I don't know about) to buy beer for it - I say go; though I prefer fruity fru-fru drinks and not a lot of extra punch in them.

Maybe its the pancake on your bunny's head. :confused3

Oh no - those who know about the bunny quite prefer to wear one themselves. :woohoo:The DIS Pancake Sisters know how to have a good time!

:hippie: Have you been talking with my DW. :dance3: :yay: popcorn:: :cool2: :cool1:

Is there more we should know before boarding, Don?????

Have a great day everyone! 32 days... I can't wait!!!!

Sorry to be nosy, but is that your bunny ... just wondering, we've got a Netherland Dwarf and the most she let me do was dress her up in one of those princess hats with the mouse ears that they sell at WDW for pets (looked very cute, but she wasn't amused for long) - it was a perfect fit since the princess hat goes up in to a point, like it was made for her ears :) Ummm, okay, I am not weird, LOL (really....)

Well guess who got smart finally and got a travel agent.:cool1: Anyway my TA made this cost saving suggestion, if anyone is flying into MCO on the 25 in the eve (between 7:30- & 9pm or so) would you like to see about doing ground transportation together to the port on and save a few $$$$ if we did a 1. Town car 2. Limo or 3. Van. If this something you would like to consider let me know and I will start crunching numbers to see if it makes sense.

P.S. Others may want to do a car pool as well not just those arriving around my arrival time. (did not mean to exclude anyone)

:grouphug:

Well, well, well.... I have been so busy with all the details of the cruise, I have neglected my post cruise plans. My TA made our room reservation at WDW Music (but I really wanted to stay at the POP). Well, now I am looking for the best way to get from the port to WDW (I have reserved a 1-way rental from MCO-to the Port- guess I will need DCL transpo to WDW unless there is a cheaper :wizard: way . Also, I am not really sure what park I want to do now. Initially I was set on WDW AK, but looking at the map, its not a lot of rides for DD3. So, back to square one. 1.Do I get a hopper pass for 1 or 2 days, 2) Visit Downtown Disney when we arrive after the cruise on the 30th and hang out, then do the park on the 1st. 3)Do the not so scary Halloween party. Hmm to many options not enough days, as we will be departing WDW on the morning of the 2nd.

So as you can see my dilemma - I want to do a park that has plenty for her to do as I wont be able to ride the "big" rides if she is to short, so really WDW will be all about her. Any suggestions:confused3

I took Victoria when she was 4 and we only went to the Magic Kingdom. We drove down there and when we got there, we had scheduled dinner with Cinderella (the character buffet thing) and we started out around 2 or so, hung out at Downtown Disney and let her play with the legos and they had some shops there that they kids could play and sometimes characters would play with them. We then went to the resort that was having it and had dinner and then came home. The next day, we went to Sea world, and then the next day we went to Magic Kingdom. She said that she loved Sea World the best LOL even better than Cinderella if you can believe that. But I found out that the Magic Kingdom is really basically for the little ones and the rest are for the bigger ones.

Not nosy or weird - at least not for this question; it is not my bunny. Google Oolong the Bunny and you'll see his history. We do have fur-children, but nobody else has ever called them bunnies, just dogs - that derogatory D word!

Does your wife have a book out on how she accomplished this? Not that I would want to do the same with Mack, but geez, she could make money off some of the women I know!

I don't have my FE list in front of me to see how many people are in your party nor do I know how much luggage you might have, but we are driving and not opposed to lending a hand if we can accommodate you and your things.

As to which park - it really depends on you and your child. EPCOT has a great program for kids in World Showcase that makes it a lot of fun - even for little ones. Her height would be a determinant in the rides. AK has some great stuff for little people as well, but I think MK has the most rides that people can do. I personally don't think a hopper is worth it for one day at that time of year. I hardly think it is worth it for one day even when the parks are open longer hours. DHS also has things worthwhile for little ones, but I think you get more bang for your buck at MK.

But I found out that the Magic Kingdom is really basically for the little ones and the rest are for the bigger ones.

MK is for EVERYONE!!!!! But I do know what you mean.

Well, home early today and I didn't bring any work!!!! Woo-hoo!!! Wne in my hand and cheese/crackers in my lap; husband by my side. Life is good when my husband is by my side before 5 in the afternoon! He is reffing football this weekend, so I think I will be finishing the FE gifts and pleasure reading if I don't have grading or planning to do. Our son is coming Friday night for our traditional dinner and a movie, so that will be fun!!!! Okay - off to catch up on some other boards and Fb. ttyl gang!

we always have a good time at AK my son is 3 and this will be his 4th time The shows are really good-the safari ride is alot of fun-lots of animal trails-there is also some cute kiddie stuff up near the dinasaur ride
MK is always a hit with kids of all ages so you cant go wrong there
Halloween party at MK is fun my kids both like that you get shorter lines for the rides and you get to dress up and trick or treat..we were going to do it on 9/30 but we decided since we have a 8:15 adr at Tusker house on 10/1 that we would not stay at the party til closing so it was not worth $$$(for us) but it is a fun party you might want to consider
so after all my rambling here is our plan---9/30 drive to orland do disney quest/or aquatica still not sure, then Chef Mickey, then maybe back to DD for some shopping---10/1 Tusker House and spend the day in AK---10/2 Fly back home

I think we should have just a b2b (wonder if it is to late hmmm might look into that):idea:

We did Disneyland last year, and she really enjoyed it, but then again it was a group of us she had her brother and cousin to ride and play with, so I got to ride and enjoy myself. I am really thinking on the 30th we enjoy the pool, hotel and Downtown Disney, or see what other attractions are in the area. (or near by, dont think I want to rent another car...:confused3)

It is Day 2 that seems to be my issue

Day 3 or Oct 2nd. I want to do character breakfast then head to the air-port

Tusker House is a character breakfast at animal kingdom
Aquatica is not a disney water park but honestly we like it more we had such a good time there last year and the water is the perfect temp.

Jen- this is kamgen, using my mom's account! LOL!! I was looking at your FE on Etsy and I thought I saw a different graphic before on the top of an FE. It was a wheel with the ship coming out of it....am I mistaken?? Cant find it now.
Thanks!!!

Thanks :) That little fella apparently had a knack for balancing a lot of things, I can imagine trying to train our Bean :rotfl: she trains us.

Closer to the cruise

So what's the plan for Saturday the 25th? Someone said something about eating dinner?

We are simply going to enjoy a quiet evening at the Radisson and probably bring something back to eat poolside.

Maybe it was Gennifer that was talking about an ice cream social that turned into dinner. I have no memory anymore
