9/24/09 3 Day Wonder - Cruise Meets, and FEs, and Goombays oh my!

I'm bored too. Work has been really slow and it's only going to continue to get slower...

I'm thankful I have the trip to look forward to now but afterward....it's going to be a looooong winter. We won't start to pick up again til April/May.

i'm loving all the muse stuff thats on at the mo
(because you asked earlier jenny) they're a UK band that are consistently voted one of if not the best live act in the UK.
they're my fave band and i'd love to go see them live one day, but they always sell out really quickly so i never get to go. they've just played 2 gigs in their hometown in devon, and have a new album out monday, so the bbc, and mtv2 are going muse mad at the mo, suits me fine, i'm loving it all.

i am still bored though. hows work going?

Work is dull and one of the techs keeps staring at me. It's making me nervous.

Muse is opening for U2 when my sis goes to see them in a couple weeks. Still bummed I'm not gonna get to go but I'll see them on the second leg. I know I'll be on a cruise and I can't complain but they're red zone seats and I know she's never going to get them for the second leg cause she totally lucked out for this show. She doesn't know who Muse is; she was bummed it wasn't the Killers.

Not gonna lie, I do that sometimes to pass the time. The guy is actually pretty good looking but I don't like being stared at! I feel like I'm in a Geico commercial; I always feel like somebody's watchin meeeee.

they're very good at performing, very rock-y and lots of guitar!

my fave song of all time is "fury" by muse, but it was only ever released as a b-side so theres no official video, but they do play it quite a lot on tour

it started off being quite cute, he started the howling a few years back to music in a car insurance advert. then he started on eminem, sugababes, CSI theme.
now its pretty much anything.
makes listening to the music channels kinda hard.......

The only time my dog ever did that was when he was in the car. I think the music hurt his ears because most of the sound was in the back.

cerby does it all the time, its kinda cute at times, but its SOOOO loud and he'll keep going til you change the channel. or hit mute.

Na, he's still there. I just turned around and caught his eye. We leave at the same time. Wonder if I'll see him in the parking lot lol.

Hello Everyone,
Just got back from Savannah. I'm ready to move there! Drove to Parris Island and Hilton Head and just fell in

I'm getting bad feeling about the person I rented points from. They don't get my messages and they forget what they tell me. One day everything is great and the next, it's sheer panic. I have the confirmation, but unable to see the reservation. I may book a separate hotel just in case we get ripped off. Jenny105, the owner is in your neck of the woods

Any ideas on hotels nearest to WDW that allow cancellation on the day we arrive back from the cruise?

Also, anyone thinking about cancelling Comfort Suites in Bahamas? Would we know the day before if this port gets cancelled?

I don't think that Nassau will get cancelled, unless there is bad weather...which we would hopefully know before we leave, since they monitor the hurricanes like mad!

Have you tried punching in the confirmation number on the DVC reservations site? I can send you the link if you don't have it.

I have no idea who Muse is. I'll have to look that up!

this is what i did, i wanted to make sure all of my 3 DVC reservations for this trip were ok.

i think they make the decision to skip a port (if it does happen) the night before, as they need to rearrange activities and print new navigators off.
unless there's a huge storm heading straight for the bahamas we should be ok.

i think my plan of action for today is a load of housework, and i really do need to start packing. i've got to go pick mum up from the airport tomorrow and we leave on friday, talking about leaving it til the last minute!! lol
