The only gripe I have about Britney is that she lip syncs. Ok, I get it when she's dancing (even though PLENTY of other acts sing and dance), but during the slow songs? Really? C'mon Brit.

When my sister goes to see U2 in Sept, Muse is opening. I don't know who they are. The chick who wrote the Twilight series always gives them a shout out in her thank yous. I know we'll be on the Wonder but I'm so jealous I'm going to miss out on that U2 show. My sis got amazing seats.

Lol you barely mention going to Spain, Karen. I'm sensing your more excited for Disney.

i love going to spain but i go once a year, its a cheap holiday as my parents own a house out there. The flights cost me £60, the accommodation is free, i've got use of a car over there, and mum and dad have all the food covered. Its nice and a cheap getaway. Looking forward to this time as its the first time in 3 years that i've gone for a full week, the last 2 years i've only been able to get 5 days off work so i've only been out there for 3 full days.
But so much more excited for florida!

It's less than 3 months away now. Imagine how excited we're all going to be once August gets here and it's a month away!!! Once Labor Day hits (first weekend in Sept, I dunno if you're familiar with it in UK) I'm going to be doing backflips.

it normally really hits me when it gets to less than a month, even better when it hits september as i can say i'm going to florida this month!
The ap discounts are out for the time we're going, i was looking earlier on the off chance i could find a good deal and maybe justify upgrading the hotel again but no good
Its really is a small world though, the friend i went to see last week just got together with someone we used to work with 8 years ago and neither of us have seen since, then i find out another person we worked with back then (again that i haven't seen since) is going to be in orlando the same time we are! And i've also just found out that someone from here on the dis is going to spain the same time i am and staying about ten minutes down the road from where i am! Freaky!

That is really weird! Have you seen the Sept thread? There are so many people going to Disney in Sept, it's unreal. There's a guy traveling my exact dates, staying in POR. And I'm subbed to two PTRs with girls our age going the same time!!

i love reading trip reports and pre trips, especially when there's loads of photos to go with it. I really should finish my trip report from last year, i think i got about 8 or 9 days into it then i kinda lost interest in writing it! Lol. I have still got all my notes though so i could finish it if i wanted to. But its just finding the time. I still haven't ordered the rest of my fish extender goodies, let alone finish making them. I'm just so unorganised recently!

Well, after our trip I'm going to do a TR and since you'll all be a part of it, I'm expecting you all to sub to it. Hopefully I'll have a new computer by then so it should be easy to update. I usually only DIS from work because my computer at home is so slow. I plan on taking loads of pictures. I'm going to get a memory card just for this trip.

I have to buy my FE stuff too. I only have a couple of things.

I need to get more memory cards, i've got a load of sd memory cards but my new camera takes either the micro ones or the xd cards, so i need to buy more. Last time over the whole trip i ended up taking 7gb of photos. Think i may end up with more this time because of the high speed function on my new camera! Thinking that function is going to be awesome at seaworld.
Anyway going to sign off as i'm in bed (its 11Pm here) and gary's moaning *** i'm on here on my phone and its making clicking noises as i'm typing!

Greg and i would have no problem getting to ohanas to check in early since we are staying at the poly and we are going to AK that day and the park closes at like 5 so we would be at the resort before we would have to check in however if i go to the bar before ohanas i may not be walking that great to check in(just kidding i wouldnt drink that much since i want spending money) just let me know. WOOHOO JEN im soo happy that you are coming on the cruise for sure now i was going to be upset if i didnt get to meet my buddy as greg says "JENNY" (forest gump imitation LOL)
Yeah one of the girls at work told us that he died but i didnt know that Farah Fawcet died this morning until i called my mom to tell her that Michael Jackson had died he was my uncles age.

Well....not just Michael, Farrah too. Wow, two very iconic entertainers in the same day...and just days after Ed McMahon died. Wow....I was setting up the lab in the Occupational Learning Center for a Skills Course that I am running the next two days, when I heard about Michael. About a minute after hearing it my cellphone started ringing off the hook. Kelly texted me that Captain EO was dead, my brother called me...it was crazy! Did any of you get to see Captain EO when it was at EPCOT? It was kind of campy but fun.

So tomorrow I get to book my Exotic Rasul and I am thinking about possibly doing the couples massage. I asked Bob and Kelly if they want to book any shore excursions...they both said no. They want to shop. Yes Ladies, I am married to a full blooded souvenir shopper. Bob loves to shop for trinkets, he could and has spent hours going from one shop to another. I think we have actually been to every single store on the Las Vegas Strip, and a few in Downtown Vegas as well. Kelly told him all about the Straw Market, and he he is excited as the kids that got to visit Willy Wonka's candy factory. So we shall see what little trinket will join the Hula Girl lighter from Hawaii, his "Governator" coffee mug from California, his Giant Pez dispenser from the Dells...the list goes on and on. Hey if it makes him happy, and I get to enjoy shopping with him, it's all good.

Well, I have to get up early in the morning, 5 am. Doctor's like to start their day really early, I often wonder when and if they every rest. I love doing this courses for them, and it's neat that it is happening in the Learning Center in the Building I work at, but with everything good, comes the bad. The Learning Center has 60 inch LCD Monitors that show the surgical demonstrations....and there is one of those screens right where I am working. It is so yucky! Thank goodness I have some paperwork I can work on...and hopefully ignore those monitors!

i've just heard about michael jackson too, there always was a little bit of me that was sceptical that he'd manage to perform the huge string of concerts that were planned for london over the next year, there's rumors flying around that the stress might have contributed to his death, i wouldnt be surprised if this is the case, i think he was too frail to ever even consider such a gruelling touring schedule.

donna, i told gary about the governator mug and he says its sooo cool, and he wants one now, i think it must be a man thing

Karen, the surgical demonstrations get me no matter what time in the morning it is. However that doesn't even come close to last year when we were having a meeting in the Hyatt Regency in Chicago and we had group of International Doctors doing a demonstration on a cadaver arm. They didn't know that there are rules in the US about specimens and how they are disposed of. It was the end of the day and I get a call in my hotel room from the Bio-Hazard company that deals with all the disposal issues that they can't find the cooler with the arm. Bob and I ended up having to search all over the lower level of the Hyatt for the missing arm. After about an hour I had to call my boss and tell her that we couldn't find it...so she had me call hotel services and explain to them that we had miss-placed an arm....try if you will to imagine that conversation, ! Anyway Bell Services at the Hyatt actually found it in a dumpster, and tried to deliver it to my hotel room! I had them put it in a plastic trash bag with ice, and I called the Bio-Hazard company to come and get it. Needless to say I didn't eat any dinner that night.

On a happier note, I booked our Exotic Rasul....it was a tough decision...but I took the 9:30 - 10:20 am appointment on Friday. My thinking was, 1) It's early so that doesn't cut a lot out of the rest of the day...and 2) Hopefully there is no way I can already have managed to get a bad sunburn. What can I say, I am so fair skinned I am practically clear.

I will check in later with everyone...gotta head over to the Learning Center

omg, can't believe they tried to deliver the arm to your room! That would have creeped me out!
I've just booked my shore excursions, i've gone for the nassau segway tour, the castaway cay jet ski tour and the 3 in one rentals. We still haven't decided 100% what we want to do but the way i see it is that if i book it now, its all done and we can cancel if we change our mind, but if i leave it til later to book, there's a chance we may not be able to get it.
I was worried at one point that when i changed my reservation over to the travel agent it may interfere with the bookings being linked, but i've been on disney's website and it came up with all 4 bookings. Apparently one person can make bookings for all of the linked reservations. It did bring up mary's reservation but it wouldn't highlight jenny's or laineys as it said it was not within the booking window.

I can't believe Michael Jackson died! He was so young. I used to try and memorize all of his dances from his music videos when I was a kid. No matter what went on in his personal life, he had a huge career and was an even bigger influence on upcoming artisits. It's sad.

Lainey - I have a feeling I'm going to be hearing "Jenny" forrest gump style from Greg a lot. So are we all in for Ohana? Karen, can you make it?

I can make my shore excursion bookings in a couple of weeks. The only one I want is the 4pack Getaway one. I can't remember exactly what it's called at the moment but it's the one where you get a bike rental, snorkel gear, a float, and a stingray feeding time. THAT should be interesting. I was freaked out when I fed them at sea world and they were propelling themselves out of the water.

Mary - I meant to tell you yesterday, do NOT miss the Jabbawockeez before NKOTB. They are excellent. They go on right at 7:30.

And EW about the arm thing. I would've freaked.

Jen he hasnt been doing it lately mainly bc i say Jen instead of Jenny so it usually doesnt cross his mind. if he has too much to drink then we will hear him say it but then the next day he wont remember it.
Greg and I are in for Ohanas we are use to eating late we do it alot with his work since we never know when he is gonna be home or when he is gonna have to go to work. Greg thinks its neat that we can eat dinner at our resort and we dont have to worry about being there late (if we were late that would be very sad since ohanas is in the GCH)

8:20 isn't too late for me. 9:30 was, considering all the food they give you. And we may be able to see Wishes. Plus, it will give me enough time to relax after AK. Our breakfast there is scheduled for 8:10. I'll need a nap.

So, who forgot to cross their fingers for me yesterday?!?!?!?!?! Traffic was HORRIBLE on my way home. I was supposed to pick up the other lady at 4:45, and I didn't get to my house until 4:36. I literally ran inside, I still had to iron my capris and get both my bass and my flute...i didn't leave my house until 4:50!! But luckily the place that we practice (this is where we were meeting) is only about 5 minutes away. And there was no traffic on the way to IN, so it all worked out!! The place was really nice, it was on a small lake, and we got a nice breeze off of Lake Michigan too, so it didn't feel so unbearable outside!!

I was watching Michael Jackson videos all night last night, including on BET -- which I don't usually watch, LOL!! Great Michael videos, though!! And I have to say I was shocked when MTV was actually playing videos!!

Donna, we booked the rausal too. I booked it for Castaway Cay day right after we get back on the ship, before the show and dinner. Did you book a couples massage? I'm super excited about this one!!

Jen, I have heard that Jabbawockeez are really good from other people too. We will make sure to get there on time!!
