we havent decided on a date for MNSSHP yet, we probably wont dress up though.

donna, i know what you mean, gary really got into the whole disney thing last time, he's really embraced what he calls my "disney geekness" :)

I am going to MNSSHP, at least once. I might be taking DSis the week before the cruise, but i'm not sure. We are for sure going sometime between Sept. 27 - Oct. 3 though, with DH's family. I love MNSSHP!! The fireworks are awesome, and it doesn't seem as crowded to me as MVMCP.

I've never been to MNSSHP. I'm super excited about it! There's so many things I'm doing for the first time on this trip. :)

yay we're all back! how've you been mikkel? hows the cruise wedding planning going? we're trying to fingure out who's up for the FE gift exchange, you in mikkel?!?!?

on the "back to normal life" side, i've had a yuck day at work, too much work and not enough time. i've got a mountain of paperwork to go through tomorrow, and a load of other stuff. plus gotta do a report for my boss, not looking forward to that......

Sorry to hear you've had a bad day at work. I hope you can catch up on everything!! Those kinds of days are very blah. They make the day go quicker but you're just stressed the whole time!

yeah i've come home with a headache, and cant be bothered to cook dinner. think we may go out for a chinese. plus its garys birthday, so that makes a good excuse for not cooking!!
looking forward to 5pm tomorrow, then its officially the weekend and i can relax for the weekend :)

gary says thanks!!

the next couple of weeks wont be as bad, its easter so we've got 2 bank holidays, we've got a 4 day working week next week, and the same the week after. yay to the 4 day weekend next week!!!
and in may we've got 2 more 4 day weeks!!

i wont be dressing up either for MNSSHP other than my bride and groom hats
It is SO UGLY HERE!!!! its pouring down rain and so ugly but atlest it is washing away all the pollen so everything isn't yellow

its actually nice and sunny here for once, but its a bit windy so not as warm as it could be.
trying to get the energy and enthusiasm to go out and get something for dinner.

It's nice and sunny here too.

I'm not sure about dressing up for MNSSHP. I think it would be fun but the only costumes I can think of are not ride friendly. Since it's me and my DBf, I want to do a couples idea. I was thinking Super Mario & Princess Daisy but wearing a dress...:confused3 There's also Mario and Luigi but I don't know how I feel about wearing a fake mustache all night!

that'd be really funny, at least we'll be able to recognise you!!!
well i finally got off my butt and cooked dinner:)

 Wow, what a busy morning I have had at work today! We have a deadline tomorrow for an exam we provide for surgeons to practice for the re-certification of their medical license, and all I have been doing is taking phone and fax registrations! I just did one from a Doctor in Winter Park Florida. When he gave me his address, I said "Oh you live on OTB!" Then he said, "You must be from Florida, because we are the only people that call Orange Blossom Trail, OBT." I told him I am born and bred in Chicago...but I am Orlando alot because I have a special relationship the mouse.:thumbsup2 That got a really good laugh out of him, which is great because so many people I talk to are really crabby.

Well the planning bug has really bit my family. Last night while DD, Kelly and I were on our way to see Rent, she was talking about how she wants blonde highlights in her hair for the cruise, and that she will try not to freak out in the water at Castaway Cay. Jeanne, my best friend since I was 3 (that makes us friends for the last 45 years...damn we are old!), who I am trying to convince to be the 4th person on the cruise with us kept instant messaging me yesterday telling me all the things you can do on the cruise. It was so cute...she was so excited about calling room service and them bringing you a slice of cake! I really hope she decides to go...but it is all riding on whether or not her brother can come in from South Carolina to stay with their mom.

As for me, I have my spreadsheets all set up for our ADRs, I bought a brand new camera when Circuit City was closing, so now I am looking for sales on 16g SD cards. This camera is 10 megapixels with a 15x optical zoom, and it shoots HD video....so I am planning on taking tons of pictures and video! For me planning is as much fun as taking the trip!

wow your camera sounds amazing!! i'd love a camera with a better zoom, but there's nothing wrong with my one so i cant really justify it.
you can tell your friend that she can order a mickey ice cream bar from room service too, we did that last time ;)

ps: how much are 16gb sd cards over there? i've just had a look and they're only £18 here (about $25), might get one for my MP3 player (its got a sd card slot for expansion of the capacity!)

OMG, speaking of the Mickey ice cream bars, I think Tim is going to be setting the alarm clock to go off at 3am on the first night, just so that he can order one from room service. LOL!! He is a major cookie and ice cream man!! :lmao:

Jen, your idea for a costume is awesome!! You could just make daisy's dress shorter, and wear some cute shorts underneath or something. I would never be able to get Tim to dress up!! One year we went as cows...that was as far as I got him to go. And that was definently NOT in FL where you would probably die from heat stroke in those costumes in Sept.!! They were pretty awesome though, with udders and everything.

Donna, it sounds like you are having as much fun at work as me!! People are calling me all day, where is my check, you said 3 weeks in your letter...and I am like, no, the letter says 10-12. Or one lady says she sent her letter back in 2 1/2 months ago, on February 28th. Now, last time I checked, Feb 28th was only about one month ago...guess my math is slipping!! Gotta love dealing with the public!!

Lainey, I was thinking of you this morning when they were talking about all of the bad weather in GA. It is SUNNY here today, at least for a little bit. Yea!! But alas, it is supposed to SNOW :scared1: again next week. It better get this all out of its system by April 13th. I have tickets for Cubs opening day!!! :woohoo:

Karen - the 16 gig cards here are about $30 - $40 dollars. I have a few 4 gig cards...but I know I will just blow through those really easily. I love to take digital pictures because you can just keep them on your computer and print them later. Plus I love the instant gratification of seeing them right away as opposed to developing the film!

Mary - working with the public sure does have its ups and downs. I had a doctor on the phone earlier that was asking me if he gets a discount if he is a Lifetime Member of our society...I told him, yes he does...then he tells me he has a few more years before he is actually a Lifetime Member. So while we were talking I looked him up in our database...you have to be a member for 30 years before you are a Lifetime member...he joined in 1971, so I told him he has been a Lifetime member for the last 8 years...he actually told me I don't know how to subtract!
