9/24/09 3 Day Wonder - Cruise Meets, and FEs, and Goombays oh my!

you have to pay for any alcohol in first class. The hotel looks great and the rooms look nice and they have shuttles that run back and forth to the ATL airport all day which makes it really nice. There was a deal where they would have breakfast for us in our room the next morning plus the parking but we are gonna ba leaving so early i figure we can eat at the airport it has TONS of places to eat and many of them have breakfast.

Marriott's are always pretty nice, especially when they're higher up in the chain. I book people with them a lot because I know they're pretty reliable. Plus, they're really good to TAs.

Then you get to stay in the Poly! Lucky girl!

yeah i have never stayed there but i have always wanted to, and then i get to have a stateroom with a verhandah which i have also NEVER had so i can not wait

I've never had a balcony room either. I'm never in my stateroom much on cruises but it's got to be nice to have. I would love to just sit out there and watch the sunrise/sunset, rather than dragging my tired butt up to the deck to do so. The good thing is that we're on the 7th deck. Isn't there a "secret" outdoor area on that deck?

I think there is and if you want feel free to drop[ by our room if we are there you can sit on our balcony i know we will probably only use it on the day we leave and the day in nassau. The last time i was on this ship we were on deck 2 so it is gonna be nice to get on the ship and ride the elevators up instead of down to go to our staterooms.

If they give you room 7629 you will be which would be cool i couldn't remember if there were inside staterooms across from us so i looked on the website and there are about 5 or 6 of them. It would be cool to me it would be a weird coincidence if you me and mary had all our staterooms around each other.

you never know maybe they will upgrade you all of the rooms around us are still open only one other nav veran. room on our side other than our has been booked and on the other side i think only one has been booked so you never know.

I'm hoping for an upgrade. It's the week before my birthday and I work for a TA (I'm planning to work that into the small talk ) so I'm hoping that'll get me something!

I'm hoping for an upgrade at the Poly sicne we will be on our honeymoon i keep dreaming that they tell us "Congradulations you have been upgraded to Magic Kingdom View Club Level Room" I would be so happy being able to see the firewoeks from our room at night and the club level rooms have their own lobby area in the building and you get free food and drinks!!! That would help with breakfast not that i eat it that often. But i am just thrilled to be staying at the Poly b/c it will probably never happen again so i am gonna be taking soo many pictures.

I hope you get upgraded! That would be amazing. Just act all lovey dovey. It'd be awesome to see the fireworks from your room. Is there anywhere at that resort where they pipe in the music from Wishes?

I want to see lots and lots of pictures! From Mary too!

I dont know they may on the beach oh you can count on a lot of pics from me i am camera happy and we are getting a dvd camcorder in the next few months so yall might have to say hello to my family back home on the dvd. I always take lots of pictures i have alot from when i stayed at POFQ Here are a couple:

Thanks for sharing! POFQ is so pretty! I'll have to check that out since I'm staying next door. I have to talk my DBf into taking his camcorder too. He took it the one year and then never uploaded any of the footage to the computer!

Well my whole family is thinking of going to disney next september during the kids fall break which will be mine and gregs 1 year anniversary so that would be cool. But i am gonna try and video tape as much stuff including the rides as possible. Many of them have been but none of the kids have and my stepfather (who will be 56 if we go) has never been so we are thinking of staying and if we do go we will stay at ASMo i said that the kids would kie it the best and that we should all try and stay in the toy story buildings since that seems to be all the kids favorite movie out of the ones that the buildings are themed after

I switched my res for this trip to ASMo for the 2 nights after the cruise. I requested Fantasia or Toy Story. I like the Fantasia building with the brooms & buckets better so I'm going to ask specifically for that at check in. It's super cute!

My DBf & I were thinking about doing a big family trip next year too. There's so many people in our families that haven't been to WDW in years!

We are all hoping we can go next september if we do there will be 6 kids the oldest will be 11 and the youngest will be almost 2 and we would be booking 5 rooms but me i can't remember if the ASMo has rooms with king sized beds i think they do but i can not remember. We are thinking of staying for a week which i think is the best thing with all the kids that way we can spread our time at the parks out and give them a chance to relax plus my mom has asthma but she made it all around Busch Gardens without any problems i think she just has asthma problems when she is in GA b/c of all the smog and FREAKING POLLEN!! my car is already starting to look yellow i hate having a black car it always looks dirty i told my DFi that when I pay it off next sept. i am getting an suv or truck i feel like when i get out of my car i am rolling out on to the floor (which for someone as short as me it is not that far of a distance )

I'm pretty sure ASMo has king sized beds. I just think you have to be really specific when you request one, otherwise you will get a double room. I know the ASMu has family suites as well that can accomodate 6 people.

My car is beige but it looks filthy now because of all the snow residue left over. I'm getting it washed Wednesday! I can't wait til it's all sparkly again. And then I'm sure a bird will poo on it.

Of course that will happen they have radar for a clean car with mine it doesn't matter when i wash it b/c 10 min. latter it will be yellow again from the pollen I HATEGA!!! well some of the time i hate it.

We have a flowery tree over our driveway and when it rains, the petals go everywhere...including right on top of my car. And they stick to it so when I come out in the morning to go to work, I can barely see my car underneath them all!
