Tim isn't much of a drinker. Maybe he can be the designated driver?? LOL!! Actually, he does like vodka. Maybe I will bring him some onboard. When we had our bachlor/bachlorette parties, my BILs were kind if in charge of it since they were groomsmen. They took him to dave and busters, and they CLAIM that he had only 3 shots and was like falling over. LOL!! Then they brought him to where us girls were at just to see me for a second, and he was so funny!! He didin't remember that part the next day. But his mother wasn't too pleased with the after-effects of his "3" shots of vodka!! We will have to limit him to 2 maybe...

I also have a DVD camera, which I will be using. So you will all have to behave!!! LOL!!!

Hi everybody! I managed to sign on from home. It's super slow though. I need a new computer asap. I need to look into that after the cruise. I've been DIS-ing a lot while I'm at work so I'll stick to that for now. It makes the day go quicker.

So about WL, you all need to keep this a secret from Joe ok? He has no clue and I haven't even mentioned that I have a surprise for him. I'm playing it like we're still staying at ASMo. I have to think of a story to tell him on the ride there. Maybe that we're going to make a quick stop at MK to meet up with one of you or that I made an ADR at one of the hotels. It'll be kind of early in the morning though so I don't know how believable that will be. So no slip ups while we're drinking lol.

I'm fine for being camcorded on the cruise while drinking just as long as ya'll promise not to leak it on youtube or something!! What happens on the Disney cruise stays on the Disney cruise.

I just bought our FE on Ebay. They sold out of the one I really wanted but I got another one from the same woman. Same style, different colors.

I am so excited for this trip! It's all I can think/talk about. I made my co-worker help me decided between AKL and WL. He's never been to Disney in his life but I made him look at pictures and locations with me.

Gotta get ready for the Easter festivities. My family is coming over and I need to hide eggs for my nephews. It poured here yesterday so the back yard is pretty much flooded so this should be interesting...

ooh, what does your FE look like? mine is yellow with 5 pockets with different pictures of mickey on each pocket.
we've had a nice relaxing day, we took the dog to the beach, had a couple of drinks and sat by the beach, then we've come home and had a barbeque.
watching ace of cakes at the mo.

i'm still not having much luck with the DVC points, but someone has just PMd me saying he's only got 24 points left, he needs to check for someone else but if they dont want them, he'll check for me. the wait is killing me!

a couple of people have come back to me about the DVC points, one person has points available only for saratoga springs which is 11 points at $8 each ($88, yay!)
the other one wants $13 per point because i only want a few points, but says the only thing available is OKW, SSR, wilderness lodge or animal kingdom savannah view. if i did go with her it'd be OKW as thats what takes the least points.
one more person got back to me saying he needs to check with someone else first, but if they dont want them still i can rent them.
i've checked disneyworld.com for DVC resorts, booked with cash, and boardwalk and bay lake tower are both showing availability. i would have thought that if they're renting them out for cash, that it would be available for DVC points. i think i'll probably wait til tomorrow or tuesday to see if anyone else gets back to me about renting points, if not i think i'll go for the $8 a point guy.
i wish i could check availability myself but unfortunately only DVC people can

Hello fellow cruisers....my DW and I will be joining you all....we are DVC members staying 4 nights at Animal Kingdom and then the 3 day cruise....using this cruise for our bounceback offer....$99 each....
Just joined the thread so I have some catching up to do....my DW and I are Islander hockey fans....they just started their summer vacation today with another loss....hopefully we get the first draft pick.....Talk to you guys soon.

My FE is one of the shorter ones. It's red & black and has 2 pockets, Mickey head on one and Minnie's head on the other. The pockets are pretty deep though so I don't think there will be a problem fitting stuff in there. I looked at the longer ones but with shipping they would have been over $40! The one I orginally wanted had a gingham blue design on it but it was sold out! Ah well.

At least you got some replies for the DVC points. Any of those resorts would be really nice. I hope you figure it out soon!

Welcome! We just keep getting more and more people for this cruise. I have to say though, I loathe your choice in hockey teams obviously. But things could be worse; you could be a Devils fan.

Jenny....I hear the annual Islander-Ranger golf tournament starts in about 10 days....we don't make the playoffs and the Rangers get knocked out in the first round...so maybe we will win something this year...we have more practice at golf......I used to get all worked up about sports...especially hockey....until I realized if they win or lose it really doesn't change my life much....my Yankee season has begun....Good luck in the playoffs....

Hi Tom! Welcome to our thread!! I'm not much of a hockey person, but I am from Chicago and the Blackhawks are doing pretty well this year. They just locked up home ice advantage this weekend. Yea for them! And the Bulls also locked up the playoffs this year...so it's looking good for Chicago this year!!

I was just looking for a FE on ebay. I found a really cute one earlier in the week, but they are all gone right now. I will have to keep looking and buy one when I see it instead of waiting!! But I did buy some really cute iron on rhinestone things, one pirate for the cruise, and 3 mickey pumpkins for when we go to MNSSHP with DH's family -- one for me, one for my SIL, and one for my MIL. Yea!!

I'm going to Cubs home opener tomorrow...it's going to be cold!! And maybe raining. Hopefully not too much rain though, because I have Jazz Band practice tomorrow and I can't miss it...cross your fingers for the rain to hold off till 5!!

Hey yall sorry i have been out with Greg all day. Went to church and then out to eat with his parents and watched a couple of movies i fell asleep during one of them my head has been hurting almost all day and now i know why it has started raining here(if it rains much more we will have a flood lol)
I tried on my wedding dress yesterday and i apparently have lost more weight than i thought i had b/c it is about a size TOO big!! It made me feel good and my flower girl already has her dress everything is finally coming together maybe if i get it all done soon i wont be quite as stressed when the time gets here.
I have to go on Ebay and look at the FE do you have to have a paypal account to buy stuff on there? Jen i wont tell joe on the cruise my memory usually sucks (well short term any ways) but i promise i will not tell him i love surprises. BTW Greg wanted me to tell all of yall HELLO!! from him.

is anyone is still looking for FEs? try ebay.co.uk, search for disney hanging storage, mine with postage was only £4.19, the postage abroad wasnt too bad either. the seller i got mine from seemed to have loads of different designs.

lainey, sorry to hear about all the rain, did you manage to do the easter hunt in a wet garden?

and i'm still keeping fingers crossed that someone will rent me 12 DVC points

they did the egg hunt last saturday that was why my mom had to go to the hospital that night the pollen made her asthma act up really bad. I am looking for the FE bags so i will def check the website out. The rain isn't the problem now it is the wind iat has blown down atleast one tree in our back yard and has nocked some really big limbs off of another tree(of course it wouldn't be from one of the smaller trees that wouldn't do that much damage) the tree destroyed my moms swing. as long as one of the pine trees doesn't fall the house should be ok. Keep your fingers crossed

Tom - At least we see eye to eye on baseball teams. I am not looking forward to the Rangers taking on Ovie. But I was happy they got into the playoffs at all.

Lainey - It's best to have a paypal account if you're going to go on Ebay. Almost everybody accepts it. There are other methods you can pay but Paypal is the most secure. It's really easy to sign up for an account.

Karen - Any luck on the DVC points?

well, it is RAINING here and the wind chill in the city is about 28...but we are still going to the game!! I was hoping they would move it to tomorrow because it is an off day...but no luck. Someone even hung a dead goat on a statue outside the park today (there is big superstition about the curse of the billy goat amongst cubs fans). Crazy people!! My Dad is on the way to pick me up, and I am dressed in layers. In April!! How sad!!

Karen, thanks for the ebay suggestion. I will try that!! I can't remember, are you looking for a place to stay after or before the cruise with DVC points? Just curious, and too lazy to look back...........
