It's the 1 given by Dreams Unlimited.

That is the OBC given by DCL - I called and they gave me the list
I would make sure that is the one that DCL is offering or the one that DU is offering. I don't think they would be offering the OBC based on your level with DCL because their commission isn't different if you are Silver, Gold or Platinum
Does anyone have any idea why DCL is doing this with the higher amount deposit on the 28th? That seems really unfair for so many reasons. Thats a lot of money to have tied up. For us it is $3500 deposit for 5 people. :scared1::eek: Luckely we have the money for it but what about those that dont.....Why not have the same deposit for everyone.

My heart goes out to those that want to cruise yet have to put so much out at once that cant afford to. $600 is soooooo high. But that's Disney for ya.
I agree and I think that people should email, call, etc as much as they can to Disney - use the contact sheet at disneycruise.com and letting them know their displeasure about this. I don't think it is fair that they cut it off before everyone else is able to book.

OB Jun 21 Cat 05B #6078 1A1K (12) - $4613 (no trsfrs, no ins)

I've already paid $1200 in deposits, so this price is not too bad at all!

Come to think of it my son would be turning 13 on that cruise too - Aug 20th! Well, there are two cat 1's - who knows. I'm just happy that we appear to be in IC's system now, and if it doesn't work out for 2011, there's always 2012 - I hope. I believe that things always work out for the best.

I'm trying for the 8/16 cruise, too. My husband turns 51 on 8/20. :cool1:

We've been to Alaska before so the poor itinerary on DCL doesn't bother me as much. We plan to go to Alaska every 5 years doing both land and sea so this one in 2011 is just kind of an interim trip for us to get our Alaska fix. It has no land options and no Glacier Bay though, so not really a great itnerary for first timers. Maybe DCL will improve their offerings for future years?

When will I be able to book 2011 on the Dream?? TIA!!

I just had my travel agent check and there is at least one Category "S" left for this cruise! She said it is $19,212. (I think that is the old category 2). I hope you can get it! :)

You can do that - it would only mess you up if they ship was sold to capacity...meaning, there is a limit on the ship. We learned the hard way that just because our cabin holds 4 people doesn't mean we can have 4 people. We had my DH, DD and myself for a cruise once and went to add my sister. We were told the ship was sold out and I got a lesson in how many people vs how many berths.

I'm not saying this is going to happen...just an FYI.

I thought about that too...just going to have to see what happens!

I believe you CAN do that...but you will have to pay whatever the going rate is for them at that time.

You can BUT if the ship is already at capacity for lifeboats etc per section, even if your stateroom can accommodate them they will not be allowed to cruise. More a safety issue than anything else.

That was so nice of you. Now that I know there is at least one suite still available I may have to get a babysitter for Monday morning to try and get it. But to be honest, the cat 1 is a much better sleeping arrangement for us and since the prices are basically the same, I'd take a cat 1 on a different date if I can get it. Although the Aug 16th is the ideal date for us, we can do others. I'm really hoping that we might get one assigned through IC and not have to call at all, but I don't know how to find that out.

If we get on the 16th, I'll let you know and the kids can party together - I mean that in a family/birthday kind of way - not a run wild I'm a teenager now way!

You can check at disneycruise.com under the castaway link on the top to see if IC has assigned a sailing for you yet.

Have you logged onto DCL and checked your Castaway Club past and future sailings? Some have said they noticed IC bookings on there before Monday.

I plan on transferring an OB booking that I have. My question is this..I booked a cat 11 but now would like to trans to a 7 or 9. Is it possible to keep my discount and OBC if I'm changing Cat? I was told by DCL that if I changed to a lower cat (12) I would lose everything. (before the new changes), but what about going up?

I have and there's nothing there yet. Interestingly, last night our last cruise was listed as 15 day Panama which I've heard is some sort of code for IC but now this morning it is back to 7 day Caribbean. Don't know what to make of it, but I will keep checking. Thanks
