9:05AM ADR for 9:00AM Park Opening

First time poster so if this has been answered, I apologize. I tried searching but couldn't readily find an answer.

We have ADR for Be Our Guest at 9:05 AM when the park opens at 9:00 AM.

Will we allowed to enter the park early, say 8:45 AM or so? I am worried that if it is crowded we may end up late for our reservation if we have to deal with the park opening crowd.

I'm pretty sure they let everyone in prior to park opening as far as Cinderella castle to view their welcome show prior to park open:

Since you have a ADR you should be able to get past that point.
I have a 9:10 at Crystal Palace so we'll be watching the show at 8:55 and then walking over for our reservation.

Some days, park opening is the hard limit. Any ADR later than that and you have to wait. Some days, they let people in early with ADR’s up to 15 minutes after the scheduled opening time. It can change day to day.

Rope drop usually happens a few minutes early anyway, so you aren’t at risk of missing your reservation. That said, an ADR right at park opening is generally a terrible idea. That’s the most productive hour for rides.

Thanks for the replies. We were hoping to get earlier reservations but that was the earliest we could get. Made them 180 days out and I am still checking regularly to try and find a better time.
