9:00am Rope Drop - 9:20am CP Reservation?

Is it going to be troublesome to catch the 9:00am rope drop at MK and then head to Crystal Palace for a 9:20am reservation? Crystal Palace is right down Main Street, so I don't see a problem. Can anyone else?

No problem at all just breath and know you are safe lol. It isnt that far and they wouldnt give you the ressie if you couldnt make it.

Also there is usually a line that says adr's and they will let you in the park and line you up a little bit down main street with it roped off to the restaurants that are opened. Thats what we did last year.

Its a five minute walk at tops and last time I went I showed up a few minutes after my reservation time and it was no big deal.

Since the consensus is that we won't have any problems with our 9:20 reservation I can sit back, relax, and patiently wait out the next few weeks.

We had 8:05 reservations for CP, and the park didn't open until 9:00.
We had no problems getting in; we just had to tell them we had a reservation.
If I were you, I would try for a little bit earlier reservation, then you could get into MK early and take pictures with very view people in the background. Either way, I would try to get in before rope drop, that way you don't have to deal with the mob.

Yep, I agree with this. We did this last year to make an early CRT reservation. The MK is awesome when it's practically empty!

One time we had ADR's before MK opening and the CM would NOT let anyone in, ADR or not! I do not understand this because they can easily see who has ADR's. Needless to say it was a mess at the castle when everyone showed up at the same time. I will never do that again! Maybe the CM was new or not trained properly.

^^ The thought of viewing Main Street minus the mob is very appealing, but so is the rope drop celebration. All the years I've been going to MK and I've never seen RD. You've given me some things to think about...
