This doesn't surprise me at all - I think only the US can't let it go! We're still so new; Europe has seen SO many changes in borders, empires, etc. We're still figuring it all out, I think.

Still, Independence Day is my favorite holiday by far. I always think of it as a time to reassociate ourselves with the basic principles of life, liberty and happiness.

That, and fireworks turn me to mush.

Ok, if she's reading ALL of your posts, then yeah, I'd be a bit worried ...but if she's just lurked on your TR's...who can blame her...1) we're all very friendly/family-like - maybe she feels funny chiming in. 2) Maybe she likes to read a bunch of them and therefore, not have time to post - sort of the way I've been lately...

And come on...your TR's are...well, in a word...magical. WHO wouldn't read every single one of them. You guys always go all out, have beautiful pictures/videos...we ALL aspire to vacation like you guys!

So, how's the fall trip planning coming along? Did you get your grand villa yet?

YAY!!! I'm booked baby!! But sadly, I'll be missing ya! Nov. 16th to the 22nd...(ummmm....you just KNOW I'll get an extra day in there somewhere, right? )

Had a really hard time with MS...seems they lost about 100 points in my account so they had to put in an IT ticket - I have to call by Monday if they haven't called me. They gave me such a hard time and kept coming up with all these stories of how I used those 100 points and I kept telling them no...then they did "favors" for me (which kind of ticked me off) - like pulling points out of my holding account and banking them and then using them for November (that I planned on using in August)....and holding the last (and costliest) GV night for me...so they KNEW they were wrong...would have been nice if they'd just admitted it instead of insisting I was crazy and couldn't keep track of my points...

OMG! If that isn't tag worthy, I don't know what is!!!

I was one of the culprits for this. I am sorry if we bypassed anyone who is in charge of organizing this event. Since I could not be there for the dinner I chimed in when someone mentioned a meet on that Tue. I thought it would be a nice way to meet some of you.

I haven't had any real issues with MS, other than they insisted my SS# wasn't really mine. Oh yeah, of course they would know better than me what my SS# is

It can get confusing when you start banking and borrowing. And then they change the rules on when you can bank.

Oh goodness! No sorries - you didn't bypass anyone, DM was being sarcastic. Some people have given their plans to her to make a group itinerary, some haven't. Nobody's in charge of organizing - it's a team effort! Sadly, I won't be at WDW that day.

No problem. I just post so rarely that sometimes I do not realize who is in charge of what. I was so jealous last year when the pics of the meet came out and I had missed it by a few days. Then this year I am going to miss it by one day. I find it amazing that 50+ people are going to all get together in one place, that becoming friends on an online chat.

OMG! The UPS brought all kinds of goodies!!! I'll post pics later. Got my box of Disney stuff for the kids and my new Capri's from shoebuy. I should be gettting another box today from shoebuy and ebags.
I love buying new stuff for the trip!! Only 16 weeks aways my friends!!

Our after dinner plans are pretty open right now T. It will all depend on how tired Jimmy is. The plan is to stay for Illuminations, but if he is cranky we will go back to Pop. I am up for a group ride, and I am sure Jo wouldn't object to a group TT ride

I'm so glad you got your grand villa!!! Sorry about the trouble with MS - I hope it gets straightened out soon. I've been lucky so far and have never had any issues with MS. No one is gonna tell me I'm not keeping track of my points! It's a shame we're gonna miss each other. At least we have August!

I think - and I'm pretty sure Jo, T and LL will attest - odds are slim that I'll be early for Weinerfest. Then again, without Gramma, maybe I won't be chronically late?!

Jo, we have 3 ADRs, with different times, right? I think they're only off by 5-10 minutes. (Yes, I did a PM box clean out weeks ago, and lost your PM with that info. ) I just figured we have 3 ADRs, 3 groups of table seating - each group should show up at the podium for its ADR time/number. Leo and I will probably just meet you all there since we're not touring EP that day.
