I saw that the other day and thought WHAT that's just silly!!!!!Does anybody else think it is ridiculous that Disney charges a room surcharge for any extra adults over two in a room? I mean the room is booked why does it matter if there are two or four adults in the room, it doesn't cost Disney anything extra. Sorry for the rant I just find it annoying that I have to add an extra $20 a night onto our room rate because there will now be four of us instead of two.

Last night I was prepping the kids, telling them we had to stay at a hotel for a few whilst they "treated" the house. That sounds great Kat. Do you fly out of JFK or LaGuardia? Mo said she has gottne some great deals out of Newark, but I don't kow if that helps you at all
So here's what's been going on with planning a little. Since Kat & I are splitting room costs, we were planning on staying at POR since neither one have been and both would like to try it. Then we added a day and the price went up a bit (of course). As I was pricing it I also thought to price what it would cost to rent DVC points and saw that IF we could rent points for an AKV studio we could actually stay cheaper/equal to POR. So have been putting out feelers on the DVC rent/trade board, although I'm afraid that might be a shot in the dark since this time of year may be popular for DVC members. Never hurts to try right?
I also called Disney and have no kind of codes attached to my name.
I'm thinking of just booking POR and if we actually get anything with renting DVC points I could always just cancel. Or if the FL rates come out then it'll help the POR rate go down, since that might be better for us than the free dining code according to V's Disney math and we all know we should Trust V right?
