Jo- Maybe we should split the Beirgarten reservation into two or even three reservations? I'm not sure they will be happy with one reservation for over 40 people? Then again, maybe it won't be a problem at all...

I think Jo is going to get a grand gathering number if they give her a hard time making the ressie for all of us...do I have this right Jo...this way we can all make our own ressies and give them the grand gathering number

So here's the thing - as soon as I saw that 40% off code, my mind went "there". You know where "there" is right? My first love.... the Poly! I could get a room at the rate of $195! Oh the joy! Then I remembered, DVC - must get Andy to experience DVC. So I went to LL & V's "there".... SSR. On a fluke I asked the nice CRO lady about DVC rooms and she had 2 bedrooms at OKW and SSR, so I grabbed the SSR - book it, DAN-O!

OMG, I know that feeling...

Way to go T on adding a day...I may or may not have done that once or twice myself!!

I had to sell Waldo on 10 days last night - I think he must have fallen down and hit his pretty little head on the sidewalk - he's all for 10 days! I don't know what's going on- they're throwing my mojo off!

The 2BR should have a MBR with a king, the 2nd BR should have 2 queens and then you have the pull out sofa...the kids could sleep in Waldo and TE's room!!!

I'm a good daughter - I gave them the MBR.

Man, so here I am ready to move to AKV and you're coming to SSR...Tony's eyebrows raised a bit when I told him the whole story, the code, you guys staying at SSR, etc...he might be a little happy he can share pool drinks with Andy and Waldo...but shsshsshsshshs he won't admit it....

Ok, so secretly, I hope you and V are at SSR - it'd be nice to have you both around, KWIM?

8 - so we're already at 6 tables?! There aren't all that many tables in there to start, lol! Here...

We were seated smack-dab in teh middle of the room, bottom level. Looking to one side of the room:

From what I can tell and recall, we'd take up almost all of the lower tables, 2/3 of the middle-level tables, or all of the top level. WOWSA!

Y'know what I foresee as a potential nightmare? Seat changing. Can't you just see the kids - and probably the spouses, too! - wanting to change seats to sit with their new friends, and not their families? How much fun will THAT be for the servers when it comes time for billing?!

Wienerless Fockers go wild in World Showcase!

Dateline Saturday August 23, 2008, EPCOT, WDW

Several Witnesses reported several crazed woman sporting Focker Lanyards running wild and causing a disturbance due to the Biergarten Restaurant running out of Wiener salad. One report has one of the crazed Fockers screaming about a missing Tiki glass. Franz Von Schnitzel, manager of the Biergarten claims the Fockers got agitated and unreasonable when they were told there was no more wiener salad. Mr Von Schnitzel was over heard saying "I have neve seen such a reaction from our patrons because we ran out of wiener salad'. Apparently there was much finger pointing at the Focker with the British accent with accusations of it was her fault as she was the official wiener counter.

D's newest idea is that if we can't work out vacation for him, the boys & I would go down for a long weekend. It would certainly be cheaper - one less adult ticket, DDP, flight, etc. And, since D's the one in love with AKL (though so am I) for just me and the kids I'd probably go value.

That's what we're doing. I'm just taking the girls. Although, DH is not too happy that we get to go to WDW without him. He actually pouted. My son is OK with it, 'cause he gets to go to a big gaming convention the weekend before...

Does anyone know when Southwest will open up their schedule for late August? AirTran is at $109 each way for us. I'm hoping to do better than that...

I just had one of those Ah-Ha moments... I completely forgot about the Pirate & Princess Party being in August! If it's on the same nights as last year, there's a good chance it will be on Friday, August 22nd...

I don't know why I didn't realize it sooner. I've wanted to go to that party since it first started! I just never thought that I'd get the chance to. They should announce the dates in March or April, right?

Here's our ADR list of possibilities.... now we need 9 ADR's right? And there are 6 travelers, right? So it's only fair everyone is able to choose 1 place to eat, right? Well of course except me, I get to choose 3! Hey, that's my FDM!

Evan's not gonna like this, but I didn't particularly care for CM. The food was okay, the service was standard, but the number of choices was a lot less than I expected. The actual buffet looks HUGE, but then you get up there and it a rerun within 12 feet. I'd do Crystal Palace in a heart beat over CM, even though I'd rather see Mickey than Pooh. I just wasn't impressed.

That's what we've done on the last morning of the past few trips and it works out great. I vote for Crystal Palace over Chef Mickey's.
