Anyone know where these toll free numbers originated from?

I would'nt feel quite right using them if they were supposed to be just for...say DVC members (as an example).

Also do they just work for reservation? Any toll free number for dining?

They are not for DVC members only. The 877# is WDTC. The other 800# I know you can make dining options through also. Not sure about the 877#. I didn't listen long enough to get through those prompts.
