8 PM for Rose and Crown good for fireworks?

I made a PS for 8PM at Rose and Crown hoping to watch the fireworks from there. Is this too late?

I still have time to change.

It might be too late. I had a PS in early May for 7:20, we did not get seated until 8:00. Everyone was waiting for outside tables, we were lucky to get one. If your PS is 8:00, you might not get an outside table, although I hear they allow you to stand outside during the fireworks.

Yes you will probably be seated inside by then.

We've done a bunch of PS's at R&C. We usually get around 7:20, and have had good views twice. The last time we were outside, but at the first table you come to back by the street - no view. There is a private viewing area off to the side for those who are inside. Not as convenient as being at your seat, but you walk down to it 2 minutes before the show and get a great view!
