8 people...where to stay?

Sorry for all my threads! DHs work trip may now include another family, so 4 adults, 4 kids..(2) 7 y/o and (2) 4 y/o. I've requested quotes for both 5 and 6 bedroom houses in WH. Anywhere else you guys would suggest looking? I should also mention we will have a car but I'm not sure the other family will. Because of this, I'm also considering trying to get 2 either 2 or 3 bedroom units at WBC or SVR....anyone else done this when traveling with a group?

Hi,

I think a 2-bedroom at one of the DVCs would work well---there is a king bed in one bedroom, a queen in the other, plus two double or queen sleeper sofas.

Or you could try two adjoining rooms in one of the resorts, which would give you enough sleeping space.

Thanks Bob! Unfortunately DVC isn't an option as this is a work trip for DH

Why wouldn't DVC work if renting a house would? Just curious as to the difference?

There's a huge price and space difference between a DVC rental and going off site. So for example, one quote I got for a 6 bedroom at WH was $1621. Whereas a 2 bedroom villa on property is anywhere from $3000-6000 (this is through David's).
