Disney MGM Studios is actually quite close to POP Century, so we got to the parking lot pretty quickly (maybe even faster than those that were catching the bus that finally showed up at POP as we were leaving!!)

Lol...Donna you are soooo right! Exit Pop, turn left...go less than a half mile (maybe even 1/4 mile)...and turn left into the MGM parking lot! (or reverse these directions to go back to Pop). That is a perk for anyone staying at Disney's Pop Century or Carribean Beach Resort...the MGM Studios park is literally a heartbeat away by car...so in the daytime you can leave anytime and be back at the resort in less than five minutes rather than wait for the bus...the only times that you have to wait might be when the masses are exiting the park right after Fantasmic (or right before Fantasmic if it is only being shown once that night).

WOW...you have sold me on POP. I am seriously thinking of cancelling our 7 nights at the BC and staying at POP all 9 nights. The money saved would be great, but the atmosphere sounds amazing. I like staying at nice resorts, but would rather save the money and stay at the Ritz than at the BC.

Thanks, again, everyone for the nice comments on the trip report and the pictures. We just printed a bunch (around 300!) pictures for our Disney "Happiest Celebration on Earth" album!

DONNALEAH...your "PLEASE, say it isn't over" is EXACTLY how I felt when we left Walt Disney World!!!

FIGMENT85 & NITEOWL (and everyone else who has a trip planned to stay at POP!!!) ...hope you all have a fantastic vacation!!!!

TINKEERN...We truly did love POP Century, but it *is* a value resort, so you are not getting the same "extras" you get at a deluxe, like you would at say, the Beach Club. There are not interior corridors, the beds are smaller at POP, the pools are not like Storm-along-Bay at the BC. You ARE getting some great theming, lots of cast members who seem very happy to be there!, good bus transportation, lots of cool music, etc!!! Yes, you will save a lot of $$ by booking POP instead, but I just wouldn't want you to be disappointed!!!

MISSMUN...the picture with Tink is the one we had to "redo", so make sure if there is a photo-pass picture you really like that it is actually on your card before you leave Disney. I would have been beyond disappointed to have lost that one!

KATHY RN ..don't you wish you *could* just be transported to Disney?? That would be so incredibly wonderful!!!

DIANE...I think the Precious Moments figurine was around $75...and I just love it! Good luck with finding one, whether at Disney or on E-bay!!

Love your report. I love POP. We have stayed there twice. Just stayed at AS Sports and CSR and still want to go back to POP. Your pics of POP looks like the bus stops are now covered. Is this true?

Thank you so much for sharing, really enjoyed your report. preparing for the first trip alone with my hubby (I go annually with my family and worked there 10 years ago, but hubby isn't a fan), but he is going to make effort and make me happy by going in August..... and I think we are going to have a good time together. it sure seems like you guys did!

the precious moments is great- i am not a collector, but that is adorable, makes me want to buy one!
