Hi, Momof2DisPrincesses...we had a great time in Door County this time! 
Last year, that is where we ended up going when our Disney trip got "rescheduled" in September...so I really, really wanted to be in Disney, but this time, I truly enjoyed Door County...but like you said, it woulda be great to be in Disney, too!!!! 
. I've shopped for just about everything we need, ironed most of the clothes, but its too soon for me to begin packing....sitting her thinking "next week this time we'll be arriving at POP" 
.... Still...I need something more RIGHT NOW to quench my Disney habit....and lo and behold I run across your trip report.

when that following Friday rolls around and I have to bid adieu to the happiest place on earth.

I just found your thread today. I have a quick question. We'll be staying at POP 9/9 to 9/19 and I noticed that even though you drove your car you used Disney Transportation most of the time. Do you think this really saves time? We always rent a van ( I have to promise my mom that we will spend some time away from Disney on each trip) and we always drive ourselves to the parks. I've been thinking about taking the bus to MK since they drop you right out front. Is taking the bus a lot quicker? What other parks do you think it's quicker to take the bus versus your own car? We usually have a stroller with us-I know you didn't on your trip but did you notice if taking a stroller on the bus was a big deal? Do you fold it and take it on with you?
We are going to POP in August and it was so much fun to read your report. You and your husband seem like you know how to have a great time. POP is our favorite resort as well. We will give it a hug for you in August and as my grandfather always says "If you are not having a good time it's your own d**n fault"

POP Century is very centrally located to the parks, so if you want to drive your car to the other parks, you should be able to do so without too much of a problem. We liked taking the bus mostly because then we didn't have to hassle with parking, traffic, etc at the parks. That being said, the one night we drove to the Studios I was amazed at how quickly we got there...again, I think it's because of the awesome location of POP!!!
Have a GREAT trip and don't forget to write a report when you get back!!!

I love writing trip reports after our trips, but have never posted them to this site before. I think I will this time, so if you're looking for a Pop fix in the middle of Oct, watch for me!!

Can you tell we are excited? Reading your report just reconfirmed all the things I loved about Pop. I have also read some negatives about the resort but I can honestly say I didn't experience anything negative. Now I'll just start packing and wishing away the next 25 days!!
