We are travelling with our 8 month old twins on a 7 night cruise and i was wondering what other people did regarding seating for them?

Did you use high chairs, stroller? I saw someone else used a bumbo seat?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks

I don't have any experience with this on DCL, but at restaurants at home, we either put him in a highchair or on our laps when he was that age. Or when he was even younger we brought the car seat to the table and he often slept in there. I don't know as the stroller would work; I know on land we have been told at most restaurants that they are a fire hazard, and on DCL I saw all the strollers parked outside the restaurant so I would think they might have the same policy.

8 Months is a tough age. Not sure if you are traveling soon or this is sometime in the future. By 8 months most will have accomplished sitting up for a short time unassisted. Sitting independently for the length of the meal could be challenging. (Milestones are a bit fuzzy for me). Most bumbo seats are not designed for use on chairs or other objects as you cannot secure them from falling. If you can still squeze them into a baby carrier (link) then you may have the most success. There isn't really room for strollers.

Reserve time in the nursery , feed them from room servise or get food on the pool deck everyone in your group will have a better dinner:)

DCL will provide high chairs for them. What we did was booked nursery time for about half an hour / 45 minutes after dinner started. That allowed us to feed our son (he was 9 1/2 months, so we just ordered puréed vegetables for him), then take him to the nursery afterwards.

We ordered the vegetables the night in advance.

One thing I would note - the first lot of pureed vegetables we got was very salty. I would recommend tasting them before giving them to your kids (assuming they are on solids).
