8 days, how do we spend them?????

We are going on vacation with friends Thurs. April 28 through Saturday 5/7 and staying at Shades of Green. That gives us 8 full days of fun. Our kids are 4,4, and 2. We are contimplating getting the 6 day Stars and Stripes park hopper ticket for the last 6 days, but are unsure what to do on days 1 and 2. The Stars and Stripes tickets have to be consequetive days and they have to be the last days we are there. They include Disney Quest and the Waterparks, so we are choosing this over the regular Park Hopper ticket. We were originally thinking of doing SeaWorld the first day and Universal the second day, but I am now thinking our kids are too small to enjoy Universal. It seems too early to take a break day on day 2. Any ideas?

I'd consiser some serious pool time and maybe some character meals, such as Chef Mickey in the Contemporary. Fort Wilderness has a petting zoo and also a campfire with movies that are free. I'd take a very relaxed play it by ear approach with kids that age. THe last 6 days of your trip will likely be very busy. Enjoy!

Do you have to stay at the Ft. Wilderness to attend the camp fire/movies? Or is that free to all guests?

It is free and open to all resort guests - not just Ft Wilderness.

We went to Universal last year and there wasn't that much my 5 yr old could do (as compared to WDW). We spent 90% of the day in Suess land (about 1/5 of the park). He was running around looking for caracters to sign his book and they just aren't around like in WDW. Would NOT go back there with little ones--however, he LOVED Seaworld. That would be my recommendation. Universal is great with kids 52" or taller.

Thanks everyone. Sometimes I feel like I have to pack an activity into every minute we are there. It will be nice to just relax for a day. I really like the campfire idea. The kids will probably love that. Last time we did not have much down time and we wished we had more time to spend in the pool.
