You get one table service, one counter service and one snack credit for each NIGHT of your stay at the resort.

You get the number of meals per person that you are paying for hotel nights...not days.

Last time we checked in very late in the day and out early on the last day to catch out plane. We spent 6 days at Disney but had seven hotel nights, so we had seven t/s and 7 c/s meals per person to use up in 6 days...we ate a lot...fun trip!

Thank you. I meant to say 8 nights and 9 days. So then I get 8 full days on the dining plan. And not even that. Because we arrive later in the day and I forgot when we leave.:confused3

Don't forget though that if you "save" any credits, they will be good until midnight of the day you check out - in other words, in your case you'll receive credits for:

October 30
October 31
November 1
November 2
November 3
November 4
November 5
November 6
(8 days worth)

But you'll have until midnight November 7 (the day you check out) to use them up.

Lots of people end up with snack and c/s credits "leftover" (some people planned to do that and some people just found they didn't use them all) and they run around the morning they're leaving trying to spend them up! Some get things for breakfast, some for things to eat on the way home. :cutie:

Of course, others plan a way to use every single credit before their last day and don't have any leftover credits. :teacher:

We bought peanut butter fudge over at the Boardwalk sweet shop to eat in the car (no park admission necessary that way).

:dance3:

Emmetts, Each person in your group (over age 3) will get 8 sit down or Table Service meals AND 8 fast food Counter Service meals AND 8 snacks.

You can use them how ever you want. The only real rule is that childrens age 3-9 must order from the kids menu if there is one and that a childs credits can not be used to buy adult meals.

Here's an example plan: 2 adults, 1 child...3 nights/4 days
9 table service credits, 9 counter service credits and 9 snack credits

Day 1: 3 TS credits
2pm arrival/checkin
dinner: use 1TS each for dinner

Day 2: 2 c/s .... 3 ts .... 1 snack (if needed)
breakfast with food from home (pop-tarts, granola bars)
lunch: use 1 adult and 1 child C/S credit Share the adult meal and dessert. Use 1 snack for extra fries IF NEEDED.
Dinner: use 3 ts credits for buffet

Day 3: 4 c/s , 3 snacks (maybe 4 snack)
use 3 snack credits at MK bakery for breakfast pastries(1 snack cr each)
lunch use 1 Adult and 1 child credit Share the adult meal and dessert, use 1 snack for extra side IF NEEDED (we never needed more food)
Dinner: Use remaining C/S credits for dinner in the park. Use 1 snack credit to get the dessert for the 3rd person and 1 snack credit for a side of fries.

Day 4: 3 t/s, 3 c/s
Breakfast: use last 3 TS credits for a character breakfast (we love chef Mickey)
Lunch: Use last 3 c/s credits in the park for lunch (or grab it to take to the airport while you wait.

Totals: 9 TS, 9 c/s, 5 snack credits used above...use the last 4 however you want.

We are going as a group of 6 and a lot of times I don't eat much so I planned some ts meals as 5 credits and I'll share with people ( I literally eat 5 or 6 bites when it is hot out) ...then we'll have extra for another meal.

i plan to use our snack credit for breakfast at pop..bagel, muffin etc..
we will be buying the refillable mugs so no juice or coffee to buy.....
since we are on the ddp that should help with not buying extra food oop:goodvibes
anyone else do this

Which DDP are you getting for this trip? All of us are assumming that you have the "basic" DDP. But if you have the Deluxe version of DDP, then you have 3 TS/CS credits each person for each night of your stay. On top of that, you also have 2 snacks for each day/night. Very different and double the price.

we get the basic DDP, and for 8 nights, we'll have 7 nights worth of TS (since we're planning on one dinner at narcoosees, 2 credits each there)

We are going in August, using the Deluxe Dining Plan. With a 15yob who eats like there's no tomorrow:rotfl2: and my 8yob who orders from the adult menu when we eat out :woohoo: , the DP is worth it for us. We can use the snack credits for breakfast items like donuts, muffins, croissants, and the mugs for coffee, tea, juices etc.... I am not a big eater, so we are getting the 3 adult, 1 child DxDP.... and I will probably "share" my meal with my 8yob with him ordering something from the kid's menu. We are doing mostly signature dinners and a TS lunch daily. It is SOOOOO hot in August that it will be a nice break to sit in an air-conditioned restaurant for lunch. Have a great time when you go in October. Great time to go....not too hot and lines should be "minimal".

We are doing the DLXDDP as well. It is the perfect plan for us. We are going to eat mostly @ 2TS restaurants for dinners. Since we are not big breakfast eaters, snacks will do just fine in most mornings. Lunch will be all sit-down too. Like you say in your post, we want to be able to cool-down during those hot summer afternoons of Orlando.
