I would think lime could be anything that isn't olive, seafoam, Kelly, or pine green. I figure we'll probably be the only ones with any color of green ribbon, on, so I wouldn't sweat it

I couldn't find any green fabric ribbon at all so I ended up getting ribbon made for wrapping gifts.

Can I wear a capri set (top and matching capri pants) to the semi-formal nights or is that too casual??

Deb, I'm taking a couple of pant suits for the semi-formal nights.

Also taking at least 2 bathing suits hopefully 3.

I always way over pack.

P.S. Ladies - How many bathing suits are you packing??

I'm taking a long, formal, sequined dress for the formal night, and a long formal skirt and lace top for the semi-formal night. (There aren't actually two formal nights.) DS and DS will both be in tuxes on the formal night and dark suits for the semi formal night. DS will wear a dark suit to Palo's, and I have a fairly formal pant suit to wear there. You will also need something on the dressy side for Lumiere's, and jackets are requested for men dining there.

Personally I think capris are far too casual for a semi-formal evening. A dress or pant suit that you would wear to church or a wedding would be about as casual as I would go.

I'm taking two, maybe three bathing suits.

for talking to all you guys and wanting to wear the lime green ribbon! My family says I have to wear the ribbon and they will just hang around.
I STILL don't have documents, we are giving AAA till the end of the week and then we are calling Disney direct!
I am taking 3 bathing suits, I hate putting on a wet suit. I took a board members advice and got a Tankini! I wore it to the beach the other day and it really was nice not to have to completely disrobe when nature called.
I AM getting excited!

I don't know anything about deck 10. Does ANYBODY know where we are meeting??????

Hi Maryann, I'lm having a hard time finding lime green ribbons, but I also will be the only wearing it, maybe Amy will to. I am going to try Walmart, my last resort. I just go a tankini and I love it. don't know where we are meeting on deck 10, but I know it is 3:00. Can't wait to meet everybody. Friends of ours have friends going on the cruise and they are also from Maryland. There last names is Tuey from Lake Katrine, NY. Anyone out there from Maryland going? See you all in about 20 days. We are booked at the Raddison the night before and are planning on taking the shuttle over in the morning. Pam

I also had a hard time finding lime gree..I went to 2 craft stores..Finally I got the closest to what I thought was lime green..And yes I will alo be the only one with ribbons in my group. Getting close.

I missed the point entirely. I thought that we tied the ribbon on our luggage, forgetting that we won't have our luggage with us at that point. I really need this vacation!

grannymary, So glad you didn't do anything worse to your knee, but a bruise can sometimes be more painful. Just be real careful with it. My husband is having disc problems with his back right now, so I told him he can have the operation after the cruise!! we will be driviing from NY, so I have to be a little sympathetic. I can't beleive we have only 20 days!!!!!! We have 3 kids, 15, 14 and 8. My dd is 8 and so excited about meeting new friends. Meet you all on decdk 10 at 3:00, do we know where yet? I guess we just look for the green ribbons. Pam

Since we havent figured out where on Deck 10, I am also thinking of just hanging out on the deck from about 3-3:15. My DGD is so excited that there will be other girls her age. Anyone else who has a DD or DGD age 8, if you can't find us on deck 10, stop by cabin # 8546, ask for Jessica. Don't be shy just introduce youself.

If I remember correctly, someone has a DD who is turning 8 the day we leave. WHat a great way to start a Birthday!!

Yesterday I started packing in ernest. I pulled out everything I plan on wearing on vacation, except one dress which is at the cleaners. I have to go through and iron a few things before I pack them, and have a pair of shorts that the button is off and needs to be sewn back on. I'm going to take three bathing suits, not sure if I'll need them all, but would rather be safe than sorry and they don't take up too much room. "Unmentionables" will go in at the last minute (don't have enough of those to pack them now--I'll need to wear them between now and then). Oh, and shoes, I'm still not exactly sure how many pair I'll be taking. DH calls me Imelda, and it's quite traumatic to think about being without all of them for two weeks...

Will get DS packed up this coming weekend hopefully. DH will be the last, although I have dress clothes for both of them set aside already.

It's a busy time for me between now and then, I have several HUGE projects to finish at my day job, and lots of hours at my p/t job, plus a family reunion next weekend. Ah well, it will make the time fly

Lime Green is a very illusive color. In fact I have been having a hard time finding any color green. I will be the only one in my family wearing it if I find it.

Lets meet by the outlook bar on deck 10. That looks like it is sort of an open area.

Can't wait!! We actually decided to book an excursion on St. Maartin. Decided on the See and Sea. Hope it's worth it.

Well, I am finally doing the happy dance. My docs are finally in my hot little hands! I can't wait to go thru them! I even conned the AAA agent out of a Caribbean Travel guide to help plan our "on your own" excursion in St. Thomas.
I haven't begun to pack yet, I am still way busy with my baby puppies. They start going to their forever homes today (. I will really miss the little ones.
I haven't begun to look for the ribbon, I guess I'd best get started since you guys say it is hard to find. I might be wearing the green rickrack I use to mark the puppies!!! LOL
I am not sure where the Outlook bar is on deck 10, but I will find it and be there at 3PM!!!
