I don't play. My son did when he ws little. I have a bucket of balls and once in awhile the kids take them out to sell. The golfers are so cheap. They won't even pay .25 a ball. One guy told Morgan to clean them first. Give me a break! you hit the same ball over the fence and won't pay a kid .25!
It does get a little dangerous at times.

I had a crazy neighbor who would hose them down everytime anyone crossed over the fence to get a ball. Boy were they pissed!!!!

My real name is Michelle, but that is also the real name of like 30% of girls born the same year as me. (The rest of the breakdown is 30% Amy, 30% Lisa & 10% all other names) Every class, team, etc. I was ever invoved in as a kid had at least 3 Michelles.

When we first moved in, our backyard was just open and all the golfers used to drive through our flowers, bushes.....to retrieve their balls. It used to make me so mad that when we got our dog we got a wrought iron fence to go with it. Now we collect bags of balls per week.

OK, all this speculation about pricing... sometimes I am freaked... like the guess that the cat. 6 rooms go for 2.5 times more than the cat 12... That would be $15,500 for 2A, 2K... no way! But the guess that the prices go up by $100 for each cat increase... well, that would be around $8600... hmmm. I am sooo glad we have the onboard booking discount.
I agree that this is a "trip of a lifetime" and I intend to make it work somehow!

OH man, American Idol is scary this go-round! Where did they find these people? Would really rather be watching Grey's too!!

I think it is so great that so many of you know each other from previous cruises... I keep reading posts that seem like personal conversations but you're obviously not trying to be private... so it's like getting to know you all through observation.
I still email frequently with 2 people from our 6/05 DCL west coaster! We visited one of them last March and will again this June... lucky her (and us!!) that she lives on Oahu!!

I'm glad someone gets my humor! My sarcasm doesn't always translate well in cyberspace. (Come on, I know at least one of you was afraid to comment on the bikini, just in case I was serious!) Actually, the top isn't SO bad, but the bottoms were certainly not cut for a 2 C-section veteran.

We're going to Oahu in March, Maui too. I'm supposed to be obsessively planning that trip, but this is more fun.

Marcy---hop on in because we don't know each other either. I in fact have only been on cruises when the DIS total was like 10 families at best. I think most of my cruises probably had like 200 posts total. I think most of the ribbing comes from previous things people have said. Some of the posters/cruisers like Jeff (BuddyBear) Andy (Verandah Man) Lisa and others you may recognize from out on the main forum because they are always very helpful to everyone. Please don't feel like we are having a private conversation you are all a part of this insanity. We are just very comfortable with putting it out there for someone else to make fun of us about.

Bless my dvr. I am a tv junkie and proud of it. My kids were tv junkies as well and had high test scores and proud of it as well.
I don't get home til 9:30 so I record everything. Greys, Amazing Race, (can't wait for the next one to start)Idol, Gilmore Girls,( hated last nights) Extreme Makeover home edition.( Need a cry once in a while). Bummed they cancelled Everwood and some weird scifis from last year.Original Stargate fan. As you can see, I am all over the board. Let's just say it is my escape
