I've been catching up on the Idol auditions. I can't believe that some of the really freaky contestants are showing up on am and pm tv and some already have agents!!!! Unbelievable.
My DD used to be crazy for Donnie and Marie and had their dolls. Everytime they would be on, she would mimic everything with them. I grew up with the 60's music. Grew up in the streets Brooklyn,( my mom would kill me for saying that as she thought I was home all the time doing homework) and one of our neighbors ,in my apartment building was one of Jay and the Americans.Everyone that time was trying to be in a group of some sort and it wasn't odd to see people singing on the corners. His mom was part of my moms card group.Family owned big chain of funeral homes. He even told Dick Clark once when they were on,he was going to be a mortician . You should've seen his face

Well, one of my friend lived under them and we could hear them rehearsing in the bathroom. They sounded like they practiced in there and the sound sure did carry. Saw one of the Beatles first concerts at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium. Couldn't hear a thing, but had a great time.I think it was the Summer of 64. So much for strolling down memory lane.
I was hoping we would hear something today.

Oh well there is always tomorrow. I can't wait til this month is over and we know whether or not we get booked. The suspense if starting to get to me.
We have all those lovely Palmetto bugs here and the Flying roaches as well. I live outside of one of the State parks and all sorts of critters are outside at night. I'm always nervous walking the dog at night as we occasionally have bear sighting around her because of the park. Rocky would be the right size for an appetizer and I don't run too fast
