I priced out RCCL, HAL and Princess, PC for 2A/2K equivalent Cat 9 and got $5200-7000 in that order.

Seriously....

... I have not priced it - but your fares quoted - if comparable for similar advance bookings would tell me DCL is ... price competitive. WOw... I didn't think that term or word pairing was in the DIS lexicon!

Well... even with a small premium ... I would add a couple bucks to sail with a giant Mouse at the helm... or at least the Mouses' minions.

Well since prices were mentioned again (something that is really making me nervous) I thought I would add my 2 cents. I posted this on another thread but I have a DCL brochure that lists not the starting price but most expensive price for an inside at 1699.00, under 3 at 139.00, 3-12 at 1399.00 & all others at 1699.00. An oceanview is listed at 2099.00 & verandah at 2499.00 with the 3rd & 4th passengers staying the same. A Cat. 6 at 2599.00would have a starting price of 8300.00 for my family of 4 not including taxes & fees. Don't know if this is the actual price they will be charging but it might give you an idea since it's straight from the DCL brochure. :confused3

Seriously...

I had to reread your posting here thrice... and are you saying these rates are the STARTING prices for a PANAMA CANAL voyage on DCL? Is that right? If so then we do have the lowest rates for some of the various catagories.

And what were you referring to when you said your brochure had maximum price cielings as well? If so - what were they... please?

Now... I have to bookmark this point so I can return to it ... and I have to "jet" to get the kids to Karate ... then off to stuff myself at a Chinese Buffett where we'll be meetin' some friends.

Then - as our governor is inclined to sometimes say... "I'll be back" ....

We are crazy about pirates. Our buddy down the block Josh is too.(He is 12). My friend at work found some POTC 3 earrings at 75% off. She got me two packages, because one earring is a hoop with a dangling compass rose and the other is a fish hook with chains and a P and key. She said, "That way you have 2 whole pairs, you wouldn't wear two different earrings at the same time!" LOL! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I'll test them out on our up coming cruise.

We have already been corrupted!

Is anyone hungry??? Just copied this from the DCL photo of the day thread, this pic was taken on Pirate Night.

Thanks Andy, I was only going to bike 15 miles tomorrow, now I will have to kick it up to 20 miles in anticipation of 15 nights of this.

Okay so we are back from Lowes and it went smoothly enough. We are remodeling a bathroom so we go there too frequently and the kids moan as soon as we mention the name. We even try to keep the secret until we pull into the parking lot so as not to hear moans for an hour.

So what gives we are really close to the next mark and noone is around. Guess it will get nabbed tomorrow sometime.

Okay Crash or any other United FF---I was just over looking at those miles. I glanced at their reward chart and it appears to have changed since the last time I checked it. I thought it was 25,000 US/ 35,000Hawaii........
Now if I am reading it correctly it is 50,000US/70,000 Hawaii.....
What happened???? My miles sure aren't going to stretch very far at those rates.

Can you scan that or take a picture of it to post? OK, so that is the highest price for a cat 10? So for 2A & 2K 8 & 10 it would be 6196 before all of the OBB discounts were applied? We could afford that!!! Guessing that an 8 would be somewhere in the middle of those...we would be looking at 7300...after discounts we could still do that!!!

I take it to read that those are the max amounts for the categories 10-11.
