Thought for interest sake I'd put in info for 2008 panama canal RCCL cruise for 2 adults, Jr suite with balcony came out to $5838.

OK... I made a small mistake... I got about 30 minutes before I have to go...

And on the $5838... that sounds like a deal... except will they also have a 6' Mounse driving the ship? If not ... then how about some pirates and a bevy of international princesses or 4 armed alien? Uh-huh... I did't think so...

I priced out RCCL, HAL and Princess, PC for 2A/2K equivalent Cat 9 and got $5200-7000 in that order.

Well since prices were mentioned again (something that is really making me nervous) I thought I would add my 2 cents. I posted this on another thread but I have a DCL brochure that lists not the starting price but most expensive price for an inside at 1699.00, under 3 at 139.00, 3-12 at 1399.00 & all others at 1699.00. An oceanview is listed at 2099.00 & verandah at 2499.00 with the 3rd & 4th passengers staying the same. A Cat. 6 at 2599.00would have a starting price of 8300.00 for my family of 4 not including taxes & fees. Don't know if this is the actual price they will be charging but it might give you an idea since it's straight from the DCL brochure.

My mom called us at lunchtime today and said she had to put a sweater on, poor baby!!!

I'm here with two layers of long johns, insulated socks and insulated work boots, ski cap, coat and gloves, and momma needs to put a sweater on, unreal, LOL!!!

It's going to be in the single digits here on Friday with a wind chill below zero & yes I am looking for sympathy! I hate the winters here but I think it's going to be a long time before I can get DH to retire & move to Florida!
