8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC

Andy, did ya REALLY think your mom would stay home ?????

Not really, but she has been having some tough times lately. Last month the transmission went in her car, I loaned her the $$ to get it fixed because she said the car was still in good condition, except for the transmission. This past weekend, the engine gave up the ghost. I had to send her more $$ on Tuesday so she could get herself another car. That's what I stated as long as there aren't anymore calamities, she wanted to join us on this cruise.

This cruise will be our "BIG" family vacation for the next three years. We are going to use it to celebrate several occasions that are coming up over the next few years. That's the main reason I really want this to work out for us!!!

It's way past my bedtime, 5am comes too soon.

As long as I can get on the ship, I would be fine with ANY cabin...heck I would be happy with a deck chair and blanket!!!

The more I think about the possibility of a repo cruise, the more obsessed I get with the idea. A few weeks ago my goal in life was to secure a cabin on any of the Mexican Riviera sailings but now I can't take my mind off the possibility of sailing on the Eastbound repo!!! It would mean blowing my entire 2 weeks of vaction at once but oh soooooooo worth it!!!

Yeah - count us in for FOUR deck chairs... we'll bring our own blankets if it'll save us a few dubloons!

Sounds like a great group!! Cold and minus 16 up north..We too are waiting for inventory control to contact us. Now we all wait for our chance to book. Then we can all relax and have fun planning ( which I feel is one of the best parts of a Disney trip)..sharon and jean-marc

Okay I have been busy in Photoshop playin around and I came up with an alternative Banner ....what do you think ??

The bottom one I have in an extreme high res and had to cut it down alot to post ...The old one I will have a high res copy in about a month or so .... The nice thing about these if we want to use them on a shirt all you have to do is have me email the high res copy to you and you can print at home and put on a shirt and dont have to worry about copyright problems ..

So what do you think ????

For you other newbies here.........Welcome, I myself am an newbie but have been following this thread from the beginning. I won't be 100% sure if I will be joining this cruise until the true prices come out! But, here is what I've learned:


1. This group is very friendly and A LOT of fun.
2. They are experienced cruisers and planners.
3. They love their POC....so catch up!
4. Someone in the group is very talented in computer design.
5. I think we might all have to get pirate tatoos
6. Just close your eyes and jump in! This boats already movin!!
7. Oh yeah, and apparently Lisa REALLY wants to be in charge of linking all the dining ressies!

Just arrived hime from taking our DD to school. I hit a patch of black ice and nearly slid through an interection, luckily I was driving slow and no one was coming the other way, it was still a bit scary though.

Now, it's time to get ready for work. I really don't like this time of year.
