My favorite are Hyacinth! If you plant them near a window....the scent will fill the room!

DS6 hockey game at 6:00, DS8 hockey practice at 7:00, home for an hour, my hockey game at 9:15.

I can never come home and go right to bed after a game, so I'll check in for the late shift.

Your right. The flowers fall off. You can't cut the stems or leaves off because thats what builds up the bulb for next year. Then you have to dig them up store them in the garage. I rather buy new ones each season.

This is another reason why I love Hyacinth.....the foliage looks good even after the bloom is spent. Looks like a spikey plant. I leave it until I'm ready to plant my annuals, Mother's Day weekend....Then I cut it off at the base and plant my annuals in between!

So I'm still having a hard time keeping up with this group. What is this about another group and discounts on pre-cruise stay? We're coming from the east so would need to come in a day or two before. Any and all help appreciated.

Didn't notice if anyone responded to you....

There is info about this on page one of this thread. I think some people are staying at DL pre-cruise and some are staying at the port.

16?? I'd have been exstatic for 16 today. Was -2 this morning when I left for work. Highest temp was 7. W/windchill, below 0 all day.

Currently 4 with a windchill of -15. YAY!

Yup.... it was snotsicle cold this morning!!

I'll be at the Havard T Station Friday night selling GS Cookies. You can come for a mini. mini, mini, mini meet and take home a nice souvenier box of cookies.

Seriously, if you took the train all the way down here for a meet, I would gladly pick you up for a meet at the RFC

If it weren't such a long trip, I'd glad come buy a box of cookies. I can't find any girls selling them this year!!

The train isn't that big of a deal to go down to Boston. We took it over Feb school vacation to bring my nieces to see Disney On Ice at TD Banknorth Garden. We actually had fun and it was SO painless to do. I could easily see myself heading down to Boston some weekend - just for fun.
