Think I'll call HoJo's tomorrow for a room. Have to figure out how to get to port from there.

This one's in honor of nuthin'. But it's still pretty funny....

pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
What's the pirate's wife's name?
pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
Peggy!

Well, I'm now only 150 pages back. I'm about this (see my fingers only a millimeter apart?) close to giving up and just reading the summaries. Sigh.

Well, I'll at least try to answer the "happier" topics from several days ago...

My first Disney experience. I was about 8, what 1974? My grandparents took my family and myself to Disneyland. My dad and grandfather wandered off saying they'd be right back, and never returned. My mom and grandmother made me sit at this restaurant for a several hours (actually, I really don't know how long it was - but it seemed like a really, really, long time) waiting on them. They eventually returned talking about how much fun they'd had doig other stuff (while we sat waiting on them). I was pretty ticked. Here I am a Disneyland and I'm stuck sitting in a restaurant for hours on end! That's my first memory of anything Disney. Oh, and the Matterhorn was awesome!! So, it was definietly a mixed experience.

You know, now that I think about it - I've never been back to Disneyland. Well, that decides it - we'll have to do a couple of days there either before the cruise, or sometime soon.

I did visit California Adventure a couple of years ago. I was in Anaheim for a national conference of Project and Program Managers. We had a 4 day class before the conference and convinced the instructor to end on the last day at 11:30 so that we could go play at Disney. Seven senior project managers - it took us 45 minutes to get out of the hotel lobby. :rotfl2: We get to the park and go straight to Tower of Terror (or whatever it's called there) to get FP. From there to the big roller coaster. It was temporarily closed, so we took in some ride that takes you up and drops you (this group was into being dropped).

On our way back to TofT we noticed the roller coaster had just opened. So we went on it (really short lines). The front seat lovers went to the front, and the back seat lovers went to the back, everyone else went where ever. When we got off we got into a big discussion about which was better the front or the back. So, we did it again, with the back seat lovers in the front and the front seat lovers in the back. And everyone else standing around scratching their heads about what the fuss was about. No one changed their mind. The back seat lovers called the front boring. And the front seat lovers called the back too rough.

After this we went racing across the park to use our FP. And while standing in line started congratulating ourselves about how we were on budget, ahead of schedule, and had significantly out performed our expected scope. :lmao: The people by us thought we were nuts.

The back is best!! The back is best!!

Now, were you all wearing business attire while doing this? :lmao:

He's Leaving (queue Hazel & Stacey: leaving, leaving)
On that midnight train to Georgia (Hazel & Stacey: leaving on that midnight train)
I'd rather live in his world (Hazel & Stacey: :dance3: )
Then live without him in mine (Hazel & Stacey: mine, mine)

WOO WOO :dance3:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yes it does..........and the big day is a week from Saturday where we are all Irish for the day! (whether you like it or not) :rotfl:

Definitely Irish. Had ancestors who owned a castle in Ireland. Didn't leave us any money, though.
My cousin Kelly was born on St Paddy's Day and I only missed it by an hour. Told my mom she should have hurried. She said since I was #3, if she'd waited any longer, I would have been born in the hospital parking lot. I tried!

I'll be boarding a plane for Maui in 240 hours and 6 minutes.

....okay...let me get my calculator out....figuring....more figuring....okay....we will be boarding a plane for Maui in 564 hours and 36 minutes and we will be staying for 240 hours. Will we be there at the same time? This will be our second visit to Maui after three visits to the Big Island.

Being from the Pacific Northwest (although not as far North nor West as you), we enjoy getting some sun in Hawaii this time of year. We really don't like to leave our homestead in the six months of the year it is gorgeous here (middle of April until the middle of October.......shhhhhhhhhhhhh! don't tell any one). I wish we could swing the May Repo...so I don't miss August and the garden harvest; but August works so good with our kid's schedules. They'll miss zero days.... I guess will have to cruise with all you pirate: pirate: pirate:

Anna

p.s. I like :cake: too.....I really like :cake: :cake: :cake: :cake: :cake: :cake:

Murray Slaughter. And Lou Grant. Ted Baxter and Georgina. Rhoda and Ida Morgenstern. Phyllis ?

Georgette. And Rhoda married Joe, and Phyllis' husband's name was Lars, although we never saw him.

Did someone say groundhog?:confused3

Goodnight Stacey....talking to myself...guess I'll go to bed.

Well... yarg (that's how I see him. Yes, I know it's John really JR but he'll always be yarg to me) has finally beat me- I'm not in the top 10 posters anymore. :thumbsup2
Thanks. It's actually #2.
Is this your 2nd pirate or 2nd 10k pirate? Pardon me for having to ask.. seeing as how we don't have a website anymore!! :lmao:

Holy cow, it's going to be 89° by Sunday. That means I'll have to get the shorts out.:scared: And shave.
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I think we're doing those color changing T-****s they sell at the stores at the beach.

Hey, now that's an idea. Do they have any that change from red to black or black to red? :scratchin

The birthday list has been updated for the next two weeks since I wont be here to do that next Monday. :thumbsup2
Is this a hint that we won't have the website up for atleast another 2wks?!?

Thank you, thank you. She has already turned in for the night, but I will show her this post in the morning. She was really excited to see all of the people wishing her a happy birthday.

Snarfle. My baby girl is five.
I'm glad you liked it and I had a feeling she'd like seeing them all together (plus not to mention saving you from having to hunt them down or miss some).
I know how you feel.. my baby girl(s) were both 5 once. One is only 6 now but they grow up so fast. :(

So now we are resorting to sleep-posting in order to stay current? Wow.
Now if I could learn to sleep-post then I'd be able to keep up with the thread better!

Oh she did. As I said, it was a three-day Princess Birthday Extravanganza (TM). One day is not enough to contain all of her birthday activities.
Sounds only fitting, for a princess ofcourse! (been there done that, I do have a princess too LOL)

I'm happy Rebecca can join GS this year. We don't have anyone selling in our neighborhood and they only did one 'show and sell' at the grocery store. So we only could buy a couple of boxes.

I need a case.
Hmm, wish you lived near us. I have TWO girls selling cookies... who would love to sell you a case. LOL

There you go...we can all be onstage rather than on the tables!:bitelip:
Now you're talking! I'd buy a ticket for that performance. :worship:

I had to come back...look what I stumbled upon....RUGBY

These are from pages 2396 - 2439. Sigh. I'm never going to get caught up...

Well, yes, the big old boy was part Retriever...so what did I expect? :confused3 :rotfl:
We had a kitty just like yours for years.....she could take down a critter 3 times her size. Dogs knew better than to mess with her.

Our cat likes to sit on the kitchen computer chair. The computer is right next to a sliding door to get outside to the dog run. Every now and then he'll get this evil twitch in his tail, and his eyes will get all slitty. Any dog that gets within striking distance is TOAST! Of course, to go outside they all have to pass him. His favorite time to do this? Dinner time, of course. :rotfl2: Poor harried hounds.

OMG, I live in in So California and I wear black in August. I must be a goth!! And my kids think I'm not cool. What do they know!

You know come to think of it, I'm really naturally pale too. Maybe I'm a vampire! A butt-kickin' black belt mama goth vampire.

Oooooo. Can I hang out in Cartegna with you?

I'm not sure why we are figuring out how old our kids will be when we are 49, but mine will be 24 & 22.

Our boys will be 12 and 16 when I turn 49. DH will be 44.

Really? That's very close to mine. "Growing outward not older"

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: I resemble that remark!

What Station?

Man if I was here in real time I would have replied Channel 2. :happytv:
MIL always does that!! She'll call us from Cleveland and say "Turn on channel 3". The whole concept of time zones and the fact that NBC is not the same channel number all over the world seems to escape her.

Yeah ....Vegas Baby ....remember , what happens in Vegas ....Stays in Vegas ...:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

pirate:

:rotfl: Well Cap'n that's what the 'rents are for....free babysitting! :lmao:

Except for the birthday dinner...DW and I were going to take them over to T-bones at Red Rock Casino mainly because they have the Kid's Quest childcare facility :thumbsup2

The Palms has one too but it's just skeevy to think about taking my MOTHER to dinner at Nove Italiano and then heading upstairs to the Playboy Club!

:crazy2:

And everyone always says I look more Irish than Italian...

Me too. People always think I'm Irish. I'm 1/2 Italian, but I my skin is very light and I have freckles. Unfortunately, I got the crazy Italian hair!
