I'm happy Rebecca can join GS this year. We don't have anyone selling in our neighborhood and they only did one 'show and sell' at the grocery store. So we only could buy a couple of boxes.

We have to go into Havard Sq MBTA Station Friday Night (yep, I'm missing chat...again) with 400 boxes of cookies. No parking, no restroom.....however..we will sell out and make a ton of money for the troop

I just heard of Broadside for the first time a few weeks ago - DH brought it home from the thrift store (he visits a couple of those every week). I've never been a big boardgame fan - I played them as a kid, but it was usually someone else's idea. Life was OK, Monopoly was tedious (and still is - DS7 is currently into it and I've been forced to play a couple times) I remember playing Risk a lot in college because a lot of my friends did. Probably the only one I LIKE playing is Trivial Persuit - and I hate the pink, entertainment category.

Well, that ties nicely into the "what did you sing to your kid" question! DH & I sing Danny Boy as a lullaby - it may be sad, but it's a lovely melody. We also sing a version of the Irish Blessing, Puff the Magic Dragon, The Happy Wanderer (usually in German) and The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Or anything else that pops into our heads ...

DH plays that on his bagpipes - always makes me cry.

How cool - bagpipes! We could do a sing-a-long with bagpipes DS7 is step dancing in the local St. Pats Parade this weekend, so I am going to have to walk along with his group and miss seeing/hearing the bagpipes. I know this isn't most people's reaction, but I LOVE bagpipes. (That's my favorite part of Off Kilter at Epcot!)

And don't forget your GREEN mashed potatoes and GREEN beer! Yummy NOT

Last year I colored DS7's oatmeal green at breakfast - he thought it was really neat!

I remember looking for a couple of items in the summary a few thousand back and I started to look for something that wasn't linked and had no clue (call me "clueless") where it was. I gave up looking for it.

I just don't even try to get caught up if I miss a day (let alone a lot more). Now I just jump in where we're at.

Anything that is important for the cruise I know will be either on page 1 or there will be a link for it.

Yes Lisa, I also want to let you know how much I appreciate Page 1 and the summaries - they are great!

We have MegaMillions here in Illinois also - DH bought a ticket today! I think it is the first time in at least 10 years he has bought a lottery ticket...

I had forgotten that we didn't have a babysitter tonight (usually my DF babysits while DH, DM & I all go to choir - but DF & DM are enjoying warm weather in Arizona right now) so DS7 went to choir with us and we left at half-time so he wouldn't be up TOO terribly late. Guess what? They had at half-time!!!

Here I am finally caught up (oops - sorry "ketchup-ed") and I am going to have to give up soon and get some sleep. This stupid cold keeps waking me up every hour or two 'cause I feel like I am sufficating. I almost fell asleep at the office this afternoon - it was so nice and quiet with no one else there!
