My personal favorite is the Sarasota area. The beaches are beautiful with talcum powder sand & there is so much to do there.

I love the sarasota area also. We rented a condo in siesta Key for several years. Then got the Disney Fever and bought DVC.

Lisa I won't be a problem....we won't be bringing any luggage.....we'll be wearing two weeks worth of clothes on our backs.......and toothbrushes will be in my purse........I will however, have a 400 lb backpack of booze and 2 blenders, so that will take up some space

woo hoo.....the booze backpack increased in size!!!!

I just love Dwight! We saw him at a local venue here that is relatively small in comparison to the big stadiums or arenas & it was so awesome. It's a theater in the round & the stage spun. I was in the second row & I was so close I could've literally reached out and touched him. He sang & looked just as wonderful in person, but he never once smiled. I thought that was rather odd.

Well, time for bed. DD wants to go to school early tomorrow. Have to take her in at 6:30. She needs to meet with her Math teacher. I hate how they grade math homework. Give them 30 problems and only pick one or two to grade. So if you get one wrong you get an F. Could have all the others right but still fail. She has a new math teacher this semester. Went from an A+ to a C because of this.

Reminds of when I was in Jr. High back in the early '70s. Do you remember "New Math" We'd take a test and you had to "show your work" so, even if you got the right answer, if you you didn't work the problem out correctly,you got it wrong. I had tutors all the way through 9th grade. It wasn't required in high school so consequently I didn't take anymore math.

He is amazing. I've seen him in concert twice and would love to go again. L.A. isn't on his current tour but I'm hoping he'll come back here one day!

I don't think that we have been to concert in ages. I can't tell you the last one we saw. But most of them were all country. The last we saw that wasn't was the Eagles.

They have a "new math" in the elementary schools here called Everyday Math. Don't know if this is a national thing or not, but it's quite different from the way I learned math. I'm just glad it comes with a parent worksheet every month with the answers to the homework, or I'd be completely lost!

Adam was doing something like that--totally confused me. I think as long as you understand how to get the right answer that should be plenty.

I've seen him on The Bridge and Stormfront tours. WOW!!! He's not really doing that curcuit of touring much...he's dedicating himself more to classic piano. And when he does have gigs in NY it's waaaaaaaaay too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$
