I mean, think about it. The plane is late so the Captain has put the hammer down in a 747. You've got wind shear, downdraft, massive turbulence, not to mention four giant engines burning jet fuel at galactic temperatures. We're standing in a flying death tube!

(Ok, there should be some openings on Capt's Dining now as some people rethink flying to CA for this cruise.)

I'll point out that the ark was built by amateurs and the Titanic by professionals in a future post...

My sister always said she wanted to be but in a garbage bag and left by the end of the driveway for the garbage man to pick up. She hates funerals. But she did say she wants yellow roses at her funeral so I guess, I will plant a rose bush by the mailbox.
Not that it will happen any time soon, I hope.

Bob Fosse left in his will the money for a huge party at Tavern on the Green and the guest list . . . said he didn't want anyone being sad, and wanted everyone to have a great party and tell stories about him (and there were plenty to tell).

I know the feeling Diane . . Got married at 27, had DS#1 at 28 and DS#2 at 30 (just days from being 31). Wouldn't change it for the world . . .LOL. Glad I had time to travel, meet some of my professional goals, and live life before children. My only wish was that I had more time with DH before we started having kids. Guess we'll have lots of time once they are grown and gone My best friend in high school got pregnant at 17 (and married) and had twins at 21. She was divorced by 30 and is now exploring what life is like. Her oldest is grown and the twins should be finished with school soon. She has the rest of her life to enjoy and still be young Guess it just depends on how things work out . . . I found my DH at just the right time And he's a keeper!

We met when I was 23, got married when I was 25, and I kept putting off having kids till we were more financially secure. Just wasn't happening so when I hit 30, I said that's it time for kids! Actually I'm glad I didn't end up having kids in my early 20's, because I wasn't ready yet. I might've still acted like my mother & used her as a role model. That's scary! Heck we'll still be young when they're all grown up & we can start partying all over again!

I met DH when I was 16. Married when I was 19 and had DS when I was 23.

In high school, I played water polo on an otherwise all-boy team. League Director then asked me to start a girl's team. I made up a "Dream Team". After that first season of totally kicking booty, there wasn't another girl's team in the state who would play against us.
It's a tough sport. No hookers or handbags.

My ex's Aunt used to drink a diet coke with a huge slab of ricotta pie at each holiday event.....We always would joke "well the diet coke helps with the calories!"

Flying is easy...........its the landings that are tough LOL !!!!
