I heard the KK whole wheat donut still has something like 180 calories. Granted that is half of a caramel kreme krunch, but still.

I was just proud that we bought two dozen KKs last Friday night and it took us until today to finish them. That's 24 donuts divided by 5.5 divided by 5 people, so less than one donut per day per person.

Funny story, we went to get Dunkin Donuts Friday night after getting groceries since the weather was supposed to be bad over the weekend. We walked into DD and they had maybe 10 donuts in the racks. I really wanted to ask the counterperson this is Dunkin DONUTS, right? How can you be practically out of your primary product?

My doughnut theory:

A doughnut has no calories if I wash it down with a chocolate Slim Fast.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

My first car was a '92 Quasar Blue Chevy Cavalier. I hated giving that car up but drove it for 11yrs!

Same here, embalming just squicks me out...and after watching CSI and Bones I'm not really thrilled about an autopsy either! I like the cremation idea but not so sure about the new process where they harvest your carbon and turn you into a gemstone www.lifegem.com

Cremation and burial at sea looks kinda interesting but it may be creepy for DS and the rest of the family to do.

Thanks for that info about the green burials! I see there is one in the finger lakes area of New York State . . . one of these days I will have to plan this all out.

Donuts don't have calories anyway. Muffins have calories, but all the calories fall out of the hole in donuts during cooking.

Hey all!

I'm SO exhausted - no ketchupin' for me today. I read all the overnight posts but when I got to work, everything just went downhill for me. Then, work ended on a sucky note and I didn't have the energy to read any posts on the way home. So, I'm just going to curl up with my book and some Bailey's-less hot cocoa and just chill out.

But first there were two things I remember I wanted to respond to this morning before I got to that nutty place called work.

I don't mind flying. I actually fall asleep before wheels-up and wake up just in time for snacks. Then it's back to sleep until we land. If I do need a happy pill, it's called rum. And if you're stuck waiting to take off long enough and you have a great jetBlue pilot, he buys the first round ones beverage service begins!

And now, the most important question asked last night really needs to be answered..... CHOCOLATE!!!

Vanilla is just gross. It's like chocolate without the chocolate. What's the point??
