Hello everyone ...First let me say THANK YOU for all the well wishes , Its great to know in a internet world like this that people can come together and share.

Things went well , and for me was probably one of the hardest things I have had to do in what I consider still my young life ..LOL But I am back home in Vegas after making my peace and do feel that a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I have to be honest , the whole viewing thing was way creepy for me and I really didnt handle that well, but did make it through and couldnt wait to get back to hold my kids. I wish this man would have gotten to get to know his grandkids, but as I said I have made my peace and have forgiven him ...

I will be around a little today I still have MIL in town , but I at least wanted to write and say thank you all for being here and your nice wishes and prayers ...

pirate:

Seems like you learned a lesson in parenting from your father.....what NOT to do. Glad you found closure.....:grouphug:

Oh, that doesn't sound good at all. :( I am the same & ordered the medium. We'll see I guess.

Lisa..... I tried on PJ's thong style CROCS and they were big.....Amy's were the next size down 9ish and they fit me better....

But the closed in crocs are pretty true to size i have the Disney L ones (supposed to be a womens 10-11) I'd call them closer to a ten though.

The regular CROCS (non disney) beach style ones i have in a L seem to be a little bit bigger than the disney ones.

You might be ok...

Well then...um...how many days do you think that it will...um...take away from our time in CA if...um we drive there instead of :scared: flying?

You just want to be able to leave your pre-cruise luggage in the car. ;)

Add xanax to the mix and you'll just pass out.

Alot of women I know who are afraid of flying only developed this fear after they had children.

This support group should include beverages.

Now if I could find something that would really knock me out I would be fine!:thumbsup2

Although I really try to get to sleep before takeoff, but they won't let you!:headache:

OK still 20 pages back so bare with me....(gotta go sign up for P/T conferences at school and i'll be back to ketchup on the rest....

Took DD shopping after school and found her communion dress.:cutie: Now I just have to stunt her growth so it fits in 2 1/2 months!:rotfl:

Ok how small of a dress did you get..... I remember my DD's communion and she was taller than her teacher at the time and i was praying that her ladies size 5 shoes would still fit.... (they didn't have any of the pretty white shoes bigger at the time)

Now I was soo ready for Adam to get his license. He got his permit soon after he turned 16 and license about 7 months later. It was so nice to have him drive to football practices and school. He has really been responsible also no tickets or accidents. The worse part was insurance. For the 1st year it was $2200 every 6 months!!:scared1: But the rates have improved as he has gotten a little older. I hear the rates aren't as bad for girls.

i've heard around $1,200 here in MD for teen girls :scared1: ... i plan to keep her off our insurance for as long as possible. Been thinking about getting her a moped with restrictor on it. (cause it's not considered a vehicle)

Hello. My happy pill is Lexapro. :goodvibes

Yes Lexapro helped me get through some dark times, too.... Gave that up about 5 months ago though and i'm feeling better. Of course i got rid of that nasty job of mine from last year so that helped...

Does flying bother me........well I hate it, I detest it to the very core of my being. I'd rather visit the Gynecologist,

No problems with flying anymore. (just have to sit forward or over the wings)

Now going to get clamped is another matter..... i hold off on that as long as possible

Don't feel bad. We didn't heat the bottles after they were a few months. I did boil up water and keep it in the fridge,

My DD was a late spring baby (May 28) and of course that summer most of our days were over 100 degrees.... Needless to say i never felt the need to warm a bottle and she did just fine... She loved them cold..

That's how we catholics multi-task...get your spiritual and aerobic obligation out of the way at once!:rotfl2:

Tell me about it... i went to church last week (so two weeks out from my surgery) and i felt ouchy the rest of the day from all the standing sitting standing (oh we don't kneel because we're in an gymnasium and our church isn't built yet.) i used to hate the kneel stand kneel part.... so glad for the rest for the next couple years.

OK back in an hour or so..... and PS yay!!! my 1st multi- quote

 wow I caught up from last night and its before 3pm...
Sorry DISNEY VEGAS for your loss... Deepest sympathy...
Congrats on the 35000 posts...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Brendan / w/ mkygrl
Thomas / DS psm729
:cake: :bday: What is your real age...if you were born on leap years??

As far as BUTT PASTE..I use UDDER BALM... BAG BALM... what ever the name but its has to be the true DR NAYLOR with lanolin...hey it works.. better to pay $6.00 for a tub of that than $3.99 for a tub of a&d that doesnt work..

ok... now some serious business... what hotel is everyone staying in before the cruise.. and when is everyone going out to CALIFORNIA??

 to you Todd.... Glad to hear that you were able to make peace with it though.....

Just seeing all the stories here on our thread about parents and i think that something really wrong happened with that generation... I mean our grandparents weren't that bad...

It's always something Andy huh? Sometimes makes me think about living in a apartment just so we don't have to deal with all these home issues.;)

Hope it gets resolved quickly for you. PD your way. I had to get mine replaced about 6 years ago.

Someone is supposed to come today to install a new hot water heater for us!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

My grandparents were so awesome.. now dont get me wrong... my parents are ok as well.. but my grandparents would give you the shirt of their back for you. I remember my kids would ask for something like their last orange and I knew they were not going shopping for several days.. and she would say sure sweetheart have it.. They wre on such a fixed income.. How did they do it??
My mom today asked for the last penny in change back..lol Of course there is some exaggeration(sp) But that generation surely had it going on..

DD is 4'2" and she'll only be 8 at the end of next month. The dress is a size 12 so it should be okay. The 'new requirements' are that it's tea lenght. (My communion dress was mid thigh 30 years ago. )Her foot is only a 2, so that should work.

Congrats on the multi-quoting!!! It's addictive!;)

Brooke's magical moment.............we were waiting behind the ropes to disembark for Castaway. Brooke & I were discussing the clues to find the buried treasure. I had asked officer Bob about clue # 1. He smiled said he wasn't really supposed to say anything. He left, couple min later comes back and asks how many in our party? We told him 2 he said come with me. We went underneath the ropes and out the door to the gangway !! He made Brooke an honorary security officer.:goodvibes Brooke learned how to use the exray machine which she exrayed my bag.:rotfl2: Took a fake gun through and scan our cards to be first ones off the ship for like 5 mins. Can you imagine just having nothing in front of you and the whole Island to yourself? Even for a few min. It was awesome !!! Brooke used the walkie talkie to bridge to get the all clear. Later that day officer Bob came to our cabin and gave Brooke a magical moment certificate. Here are some pictures.

Oh and yes Bob gave us the answer to clue number 1, got the treasure in record time.:rotfl2:
Wow, what a wonderful experience. And memories to last a lifetime!!!
