Sorry-but I can't find it-some one point me in the direction of the "Jar of Dirt" tune please?

Good evening all!

I've just finished catching up after a busy but good day. Took DD shopping after school and found her communion dress.:cutie: Now I just have to stunt her growth so it fits in 2 1/2 months!:rotfl:

Darth...you are honestly a quite impressive swabbie!!! Baker, without crisco:upsidedow , tailor and costume maker AND an ER doc in your 'spare time'. Wow. And I hear you about loving the DISers on this thread. They're the best! That's why 93% of my posts are here.:thumbsup2

One of my DF from college is a pharmacist. I visited her at work one day and asked why the prep h was kept behind the counter. I thought it was b/c people were too embarrassed to buy it. Nope. It's apparently the drug of choice for coke users (or other snortable drugs) to shrink the nasal tissues so they can breathe again.:confused3

prep H is also used when a dark horse gets a cut after the scab falls off you put prep H and when the hair grows back it will grow back the color it is suppose to instead of no treatment it will grow back white. dont ask me who thought of this .i just know it works

We've always dealt with the same problems with our kids.....but we use having a sleepover in our room as a treat now. Ds 11 still loves to cuddle with me......shhhh don't tell anyone!

If he gets 100% on a test he gets a sleepover with me and we kick dh out of the room for the night. You would be amazed at how motivating that is for ds. He would rather have a sleepover with me as his reward than having a new game, going to a movie, etc. I know this won't last much longer.....so I'm cherishing it while I can.

Aw that's sweet.:flower3: At least you know it will go fast. I already feel it with my 13 year old.:sad2:

And they were the size of a small suitcase. I meant when the general public had it made available to them.

i remember my 1st cell phone it was comcast metrophone and it was a bag phone that you had to plug into the cars cig lighter that was in 93 when i graduated

WOW! About 15 pages back I was wondering if there was anyone around who actually liked flying! I love it. I've flown small planes (not much, but I have 3 hours more in my log book than most people!). DH soloed in HS. I've been skydiving & DH fastropes out of helicopters.

We took an awesome flightseeing trip to Denali. We even landed on a glacier way up in the mountians so we could get out and walk around. I shot film, otherwise I'd post a photo.

The only thing I hate about flying is the middle seat & the drink prices!

i love to fly all i ever wanted to do in high school was be a fighter pilot like top gun! however when i went to enlist they told me i was too short:headache: so i went and worked for american airlines and UPS i used to park the planes that was the closest i could get to flying them:sad2: and when i worked for AA the flight bennies were awesome all you paid were the taxes

Saw this and wanted to pop this in real quick...........DD decided she only wanted cereal this morning and not eggs!!!

http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=17268685&postcount=245

I listened to most of the podcast last evening while I was falling behind on this thread, LOL!!! A few points of interest were made about the new ships:

1) more cabins that will fit 5 and 6 people

2) more connecting cabins

3) more "Main Dining" options

Cool! thanks for the info....

Interesting.
What will be interesting is if the cabins that fit 5 or 6 people will still be in the 1-4 cat price range- if so... then it's no help to us. I really can't figure out why they'd make it SO much cheaper to just take up 2 rooms for the same amount of people than 1 room with the same amount of people. Now granted 1-3 are suites with lots more room, bigger balconies, perks like concierge/etc. but the cat 4 is a total rip off IMO. It's just the same size (atleast as a cat 10 like we had before) with an extra bed shoved in there. I don't think the rate per adult/extra children should be any higher than a cat 6 (for the verandah) because all they do is add a bed and make it even more crowded in there. LOL I'll still stick to 2 rooms unless they make the rooms that fit 5 or 6 more reasonably priced!

I run into that problem too. We order stuff for the kids, then forget we tacked on something for ourselves and then we hide the boxes until birthday or Christmas and then it's "D'oh!"
I've totally done that before, more than once. LOL
Oh yeah, you and what army?

(No, BIP, I was only joking, please don't hurt me, I promise to be go... Ow, that hurts.)

You better watch it! :lmao:

There is no such person as Theresa. She's Lisa's imaginary DIS friend.
:scared1:

It might be cheaper to hire a cab or limo for him! :confused3 At $4400 a year that works out to $12.05 a day... so OK, you can't get a limo - let alone a cab for that kind of money... but boy does that sound like a lot. I vaguely recall my Dad paid maybe $3000 a year for me to drive initially. I had NO idea how much that was worth back then. Of course... my memory may be very faulty on that figure too! ;)
Well now that you put it that way... I'm sure I spend close to that in gas driving my oldest back and forth to this and that. I could manage to pay that much for the insurance and let HER put the gas in her own vehicle (and it would take less gas than mine because she won't be needing to drive a gas guzzler like mine!)

Nice try O'BWV.. you were doomed though- all alone going for the pirate with all those swabbies surrounding you! Sorry you didn't have more wench help there... it was too early and we were all busy taking kids to school, getting ready for work, etc. I guess!

o.k if your old then I am old because I also had my last kid in 93.:rotfl2:
:lmao: I had my first child in Jan '94

Yes, I hook up the hose at the bottom of the tank and run it out the heater room window to drain.

Why does that help? What does it do to drain it? I'm curious as I've never done that before...

Zoloft, Librax, and when the going gets really tough, Clonazepam. Just wait 'til your kids are 25, 16 and 13.

 if we could all get our drugs together and sell them we could eaisly pay for the cruise and tips and DL just gotta replenish them before we hit LAX we cant have a buch of cranky people on the magic;)

Your priest must not be as boring as our minister.

Our Pastor's homilies are so entertaining. He's an Italian-American and a New Yorker, so you can imagine what a great story teller he is.....Our Associate Pastor is a little hard to follow, though. He goes off on different tangents all of the time. I'll be focusing hard thinking "okay....I'm with ya....okay I see what your saying". Then all of a sudden "ooo...where'd ya go?"

My drugs of choice:

2 fingers of Makers Mark over ice
Reeses Cups

Not necessarily cheaper but at least I don't need a script :thumbsup2

You guys crack me up. You also reaffirm my decision to never have children. The butt paste did it for me.

Catch up with you later.

Hello everyone ...First let me say THANK YOU for all the well wishes , Its great to know in a internet world like this that people can come together and share.

Things went well , and for me was probably one of the hardest things I have had to do in what I consider still my young life ..LOL But I am back home in Vegas after making my peace and do feel that a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I have to be honest , the whole viewing thing was way creepy for me and I really didnt handle that well, but did make it through and couldnt wait to get back to hold my kids. I wish this man would have gotten to get to know his grandkids, but as I said I have made my peace and have forgiven him ...

I will be around a little today I still have MIL in town , but I at least wanted to write and say thank you all for being here and your nice wishes and prayers ...
