I am back-reading and just saw you said 1980. I don't think I've ever had a heater last like that. I assume you do the right thing and drain the water out every year like you are supposed to, though.

Yes, I hook up the hose at the bottom of the tank and run it out the heater room window to drain.

He looks like the runner up guy from 'So You Think You Can Dance'. Travis I think. He did great tonight. I also like Chris. Sundance was OK, but maybe just because I love that song.

I missed AI last week, didn't want DH to have to worry about taping to many shows for me. I don't remember his name but he sang a song last night and dedicated it to his wife and has really curly hair. I also think he has personality.

... I had an intense middle of the nite session with my 3 year old earlier this evening. It left me WIDE AWAKE while she fell back asleep - then reawakened to cry some more. Can't figure out what it was... but she's fast asleep now.

Good Morning Crew

My weren't we a chatty group last night, I wake up this morning to see 30 pages were added, time to go skimming.

I'm also on hold with our utility company, I woke up this morning to find out hot water heater leaking all over our utility floor. I guess I can't complain, the hot water heater was installed just before we moved in this house back in July 1980.

It's always something Andy huh? Sometimes makes me think about living in a apartment just so we don't have to deal with all these home issues.

Hope it gets resolved quickly for you. PD your way. I had to get mine replaced about 6 years ago.

I listened to most of the podcast last evening while I was falling behind on this thread, LOL!!! A few points of interest were made about the new ships:

1) more cabins that will fit 5 and 6 people

2) more connecting cabins

3) more "Main Dining" options

I was surprised they made the announcement the day we got off the ship but I didn't hear about it till I got home. Capt. Henry did mention the dis boards and how a couple had just cruised there 57th cruise. Yup I knew who he was talking about.

Yes, I was on beautifulfabric.com today and did find some nice faux embroidered silk. I'm so glad you know what I'm talking about. I also went to granndgarb.com and picked up some 18th century girls dress patterns that match her gown exactly. I hope people don't think I'm a freak but It's a hobby.

I for one, can't wait to see it....I'm sure it will be beautiful!

Lisa, I know what your going thru. This winter we finally got the girls sleeping in their own beds. What we did which would be hard in your case was we had the older DD 11 put the younger DD 8 to sleep, they ended up sleeping in the same bed (full size), but thats fine. For the first time in 11 years we have enjoyed sleeping like "normal" people.

We've always dealt with the same problems with our kids.....but we use having a sleepover in our room as a treat now. Ds 11 still loves to cuddle with me......shhhh don't tell anyone!

If he gets 100% on a test he gets a sleepover with me and we kick dh out of the room for the night. You would be amazed at how motivating that is for ds. He would rather have a sleepover with me as his reward than having a new game, going to a movie, etc. I know this won't last much longer.....so I'm cherishing it while I can.

OK, this is totally off topic but I have to tell someone who might actually appreciate it....

DH got up at 3 am this morning and called WDW dining. We're doing 10 days at WDW this coming August.

And he scores - yes - the Chefs Table at Victoria and Alberts. We've been wanting to do this since reading the review in the Wall Street Journal. He's so excited - it's the only thing he really wanted to do this trip.

Very, very cool!!! Y'all are going to love it.

DH and managed the Chef's table the one time we went to V&A's, and as a walk-up no less. When we arrived to check in they had a sign on the desk saying the Chef's Table was available for the seating we had. What an awesome experience!
